The Mission - Carved in Sand. The stand out song is Deliverance (18:10), but the whole album is just great in my opinion.

Completely missed this. It's the first song from the Missions new album "Another Fall From Grace" which is meant to be a missing link between The Sisters of Mercy - First and Last and Always and The Mission - Gods Own Medicine.
