    Iceland is proving fruitful.

Kaelan Mikla are ace. Dark synths, reminding me of some of the textures on Nine Inch Nails' Add Violence EP last year. Interesting vocalist, big fan of these.

Also really enjoying Vok. Rinsed both their albums on the commute today, perfect music to sit back to whilst reading a book, similar to Haelos.

And elsewhere, always have plenty of time for The Kills.

There are a few sources of content on YouTube that I've been keeping tabs on lately; The Strombo gigs above, KEXP's live performances, Nikki Sixx's 'My Favourite Riff' interview series. Good stuff all-round.

They've released a fair few songs now, only that album I linked is similar to Nirvana

Rammstein dropped a new self-titled album this week. 'Puppe' may well be my favourite track of theirs period, though I can't find a full version on YouTube to link here.

Made a nice little find on the KEXP channel; Khruangbin. Very laid back global-music style of band, with some Asiatic influences to the guitar work in places. 2am music.

Sun House. Taken from their debut four-track EP, Rosedale. Bluesy modern rock, presumably the name of the band a nod to delta bluesman Son House.

There are a couple now, unfortunately the audio in the live one doesn't do it justice tho.

Good one, although it does have its roots in an earlier song as does much of the album.
