NTFS.SYS ERROR 0x00000024

Trying to install windows 7 on my sisters pc and NTFS.SYS ERROR 0x00000024
keeps appearing right at the end of the install. I've tried 2 different hdd's and get the same error on both.

I'm currently trying a different cable and sata port on the mobo.

Anyone ever got this error / have any other ideas what might cause it?

not really, its getting to the "completing installation" part.. so its after all the files have been taken from the cd.
fingers crossed its on that stage again with the new cable and port.. will post again in about 2 mins if it works lol

in windows.. so looks like it was just the cable.. or possibly the port.

but its working
