*pokes Amonlym with muddy ol' stick* shoo away with ya :D

seriously I take my hat off to Amonlym his score crucifies mine. mod1fied take a peek at the threads in overclocking. seek out the juicy amd titbits and have a tinker.I reckon we could happily have you sat at 2.8-3.0 :D

I hope so too, although i dont think my ram is great at overclocking, soon find out :)

tbh I've tried a few sets of corsair and apart from the xms range I found them to be pant's for getting anywhere near a decent oc. If I were you I'd try to source some OCZ Platinum 3200 / G.Skill HZ-ZX / Corsair XMS. If you keep an eye out on members market you might pick the up for £50-60, you can then auction your current ram to cover costs.

Bah my ram sucks got this stuff - Corsair Twinx2048-3200c2 - it either BSOD's whilst running Nuclearus, or crashes on the last parts of the multi thread.

My CPU voltage is maxed out at 1.5V, got it upto 10.5 x 260 - still unstable, 261 gives a crash whilst 1/2 way thru Nuclearus, and 262 gives bsod on login.

My guess would be the timings for the speed of the RAM, when the FSB is at 260 the RAM runs at 210mhz and it still gives crashes. Any ideas on what timings to use? its already overvolted to 2.8V - current settings are 2.5-3-3-8-13-16-2T

Edit: i dropped it back to 257x10.5 and managed to get the test to finish, im going to run some stability tests now thanks to the sticky on here :)

I'm on air lol in my little pocket rocket shuttle with stock sn25p cooler.

mod1fied instead of 2.5-3-3-8-13-16-2T try 3-3-3-6-13-16-1T without adjusting clocks /multi's but yup you're ram is holding you back I'd say

madman045 same applies try slightly slacker timings of say 3.3.3.6 you're already at 1t so no problem there

I just set those timings and it boosted my score upto this:

Edit - Oops i didnt see you said set it to 3-3-6

Ill try that then update the pic

Edit2 - Old score = 7105 New Score = 7137

ok bud we're moving in the right direction :D mem ? I see your multi is at 10.5 try 11 with the settings you currently have

I tried current settings with multi at 11x and i get BSOD as soon as the XP splash screen appears - it gives at 0x7E

I lowered the FSB/RAM ratio - it was 333mhz, to 266 and it gives a Bad_System_Config_Info 0x74 BSOD before the splash screen

this app is much more interested in cpu than ram, so far as i could tell.

are you able to reduce temps/up volts any more? sounds like your voltage limited.
in windows, if you have software overclocking tools, then nuclearus will tend to start giving "0" scores when you on the ragged edge, and 1 bit over wll start to give errors about illegal sumouts or the like. 1 step back from this point usually benches fine - 1 step over hang pc reliably during bench. thats bench to crash in 36mhz :o
