I don't get why you say no warranty? I know the FE doesn't transfer but the majority of AIB's do as the warranty is on the card and not the purchaser. With no warranty on such an expensive purchase though. Is it worth the risk?

Thought PC gamers were 120 FPS master race or GTFO?This is one of my issues with MFG ; you need a good frame rate before using it otherwise the latency and visual artifacts are distracting. In this video Tim is recommending a base frame rate of 100-120 fps, or 70-80 fps at a bare minimum depending on the game/genre. For me personally, if my game is already running at 4K/120 fps then I don't need or want MFG on top of that.

MSI supreme cools it to 60 ish degrees and that's just 3 fansSo ideally people need an aio or something similar.
What AIB? As far as I know only EVGA had transferable warranties and they are gone now.I don't get why you say no warranty? I know the FE doesn't transfer but the majority of AIB's do as the warranty is on the card and not the purchaser.
Asus, MSI and Gigabyte i know of for sure (although some say Gigabyte is up to there discretion)What AIB? As far as I know only EVGA had transferable warranties and they are gone now.
Hmm I need to check that. Pretty sure that's against thee terms for all three.Asus, MSI and Gigabyte i know of for sure (although some say Gigabyte is up to there discretion)
Good, then purists can use an older system. They'll have more money for a new(er) GPU.Well, according to multiple benchmarks, 5090 has trouble reaching 60fps in I'm 4k native in multiple games, so it's still really not easy, is it?
Good video. Summarises the issue with FG and MFG well. To the point of have a base frame rate of 100-120fps, good luck achieving that in the latest AAA games with all the bells and whistles turned on. Not even DLSS performance will save you in many cases. This is one of my issues with MFG ; you need a good frame rate before using it otherwise the latency and visual artifacts are distracting. 240 is so 2020, all about the 480hz now240 or GTFO*
Back to console I go. What I would do to have a 480hz or 500hz 1440p OLED monitor alongside my AW3225QF.... Maybe one day.240 is so 2020, all about the 480hz now
it's like some weird April fools joke that only billionaires are laughing at.You’ve got AMD with cards in stock and not launching till march and Nvidia launching in January despite having no stock, what strange times we’re living in.
I just got a Asus 1440p 480hz oled , almost a end game monitor for me ... can't see me upgrading it for a good few years nowBack to console I go. What I would do to have a 480hz or 500hz 1440p OLED monitor alongside my AW3225QF.... Maybe one day.

Yep completely useless feature. If anyone else finds value in MFG or Frame Generation, then good for them, but imo frame generation is not worth even paying $1 for
I just checked my current case and I won't be able to fit a 360 rad unless I remove some of my hdd.Asus, MSI and Gigabyte i know of for sure (although some say Gigabyte is up to there discretion)
