I’m gonna still give OcUK the benefit of the doubt on the pricing, I had a good experience with 9800x3d and 7800xt at launch pricing.

If it does launch at those prices, then founders it is. Resell value of founders is generally decent.

Their 4090 launch pricing was like the current 5080 pricing, btw. So don't get too excited for a last minute £150 price drop.

Yep it's pretty mental how much inflation has happened in pc component pricing.

there's regular inflation, then there's PC component inflation which is rising at a much higher rate

Im not gonna buy a 5090 or a 5080, not falling under Nvidia spell, Im just gonna continue to use a card that a borrowed, and when that goes back Im gonna stick to a 2080ti

Its just not worth the hassle and money

Life is way to important than a bloody 5090

I think its annoying they made the 5080 cooler cheaper. Had the kept the 5090fe cooler it would have ran so much better.

If previous hardware launches have taught me anything, it's be decisive. Figure out your price range and which models are in it, then pick one. Forget about the others.

Was thinking exactly the same.. I have an order of priority for the SKUs I'm interested.. if a lower one in the stack goes live before a higher one... ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
