NVIDIA 5000 SERIES - ***NO COMPETITOR HINTING***

Not saying they wont. Just that seeing OCUK prices that high doesn't really align with my experience of how customer friendly OCUK have been for me. Maybe I'm an idiot for expecting too much.

No point in having brand loyalty anymore it seems.
IIRC they've stated several times, including on the page that it isn't the final price.

I'm remembering the 30 series launch and the 40 series launch and how it turned out the only company that could provide any cards at MSRP was Nvidia for FE's as not even the card manufacturers were selling direct at MSRP.

I've no skin in this game either way - any GPU more than £300 is too expensive for me :D

But when NVIDIA have publicly been accused of trying to cut AIB profit, and retailers are receiving so little stock, can you really blame them for trying to recoup a little more margin to cover the cost of a new product launch?
Yup

I find general video card prices these days insane, even at MSRP if you can find anyone (including the manufacturer) who is selling to end users at close to that.

Who else was trying to spot a "90" on the end of a box?

I’m gonna still give OcUK the benefit of the doubt on the pricing, I had a good experience with 9800x3d and 7800xt at launch pricing.

If it does launch at those prices, then founders it is. Resell value of founders is generally decent.

The official partners for Nvidia over here (India) are telling me that they wont have ANY 5090s until the middle of February.

5080s....they have quite a few.....but I had zero interest before the reviews.
