NVIDIA 5000 SERIES - ***NO COMPETITOR HINTING***

What makes you think those guys aren't jacking up the prices too lol
Not saying they wont. Just that seeing OCUK prices that high doesn't really align with my experience of how customer friendly OCUK have been for me. Maybe I'm an idiot for expecting too much.

No point in having brand loyalty anymore it seems.

To be fair they did well with the 9800x3D. There still time to correct it, hopefully....

Who is gonna buy it from a scalper though, really? They're overpriced as it is, why would you pay £100+ (Or however much more) when it's already not even well priced?

it's like when people bought the PS5 pros to scalp

He's spot on, and I and a few others have been saying this since the specs were leaked.

Instead of not trying to scam buyers with a gimped GPU with the same name as the properly specced one, they just haven't offered the properly specced one and made the gimped one the same price.

Clever play Nvidia... they figured out how to dupe us all the 2nd time.

Source of the charts

The point is, the 80 series have in history been around 10% at an average better than the flagship last gen card. This is the first time for over 10 years that a 80 series is slower then the last flagship gen card...

I've said it before, the 5000 seires is shaping up to be the worst Nvidia generation in at least a decade, if not ever.

Good guy OCUK prescalps the GPU so scalpers won't want it and gamers can get in and secure their order. Always looking out for the little gamers :)
I've no skin in this game either way - any GPU more than £300 is too expensive for me :D

But when NVIDIA have publicly been accused of trying to cut AIB profit, and retailers are receiving so little stock, can you really blame them for trying to recoup a little more margin to cover the cost of a new product launch?
