Nvidia 65" Big Format Gaming Displays

Even when you put the crazy pricing to one side (and the fact that upcoming VRR TV's will be half this), it really does seem like such a niche product, even more so than the £2000 4K 144Hz monitors. I don't even know why it exists tbh... they could be putting R&D to far better use, but I guess we can only hope the tech on show here filters its way down to smaller screens that are actually practical... not to mention affordable!

With the PPI, 65" is only usable at a distance, so that obviously rules it out in a typical PC use case setting. In a lounge environment it's hampered by the lack of proper set-up that a keyboard/mouse requires... i.e a desk. Those lap thingies are fine for casual use, but nothing more. This is obviously why they've set it up in that video to 'mirror' a PC environment, but few people would have the space to use it like that. I'm sure some people will buy these, but it's a pure halo product.

I have to agree with you 100% - I can easily fit a 49 ultrawide or even a normal sized 43 4kmonitor but at 65 the space it would take up...... I could replace the main TV in the Cabin but the little kids I have would wreck it with their dirty paws.

I have 2 tvs and both of them have paw marks on them.

I won't be buying a new TV for a while. It stems from their school where they have interactive smart boards which ofc look like tvs.
