Nvidia acknowledge Stutter problem!

I've not read this whole thing or followed this closely but is it purely an issue for vsync users?
So people like me who never use vsync would never suffer from it?

Have been swapping out to my old GTX 470 just to try and be sure its not me being over sensitive. But it definately doesn't happen on my old card :(

GTX470 is shaping up to be the best GPU I've purchased so far. I've had practically no issues with it (even RAGE where people had tons of issues with texture popping/very low res textures my 470 has been fine) everything runs silky smooth with 2 of them in SLI (at upto 1920x resolutions) definitely not tempted to upgrade any time soon from my setup.

Same here really whilst its a bit hot its certainly been a good workhorse for me.

I have been doing more testing tonight swapping the two over I think im done with the 670, which is a real shame :(

Only got shot of my gtx 470's this week, mainly playing bf3 theese days, the 470's coped pretty well with it, but due to 1.2gb of ram msaa was a no go. They were certainly money well spent, bit hot/loud yes, but not a major concern for me. Now on a gtx 670 windforce, been great so far and oc's pretty well too.

It seemed so at first but it looks like it affects some without vsync too, based on all this plus my lack of confidence in nvidia to sort it out in a timely manner I've sent my 670 back today and looking at the 7950 or 7970?

Same as this, although I have tried it once more again tonight in the hope it was just me being over-sensitive to the whole issue.

Think i'll look at the 7970 which will be my first AMD card
