If that's how much power it takes to shift that many pixels around at that speed then fair enough. If AMD managed to produce a card with the same performance but far lower wattage then maybe we'd have a frame of reference but until then, it is what it is.

It’s not something that bothers me when gaming, the profile i load on afterburner has my GPU fan speed set to 95%. But i use headphones so cant hear itHeat and noise. You don't care about that in your kettle or in your shower.
