OK dude.

It is what he said.
I've already corrected him, I'm not gonna correct everyone that is too stupid.
I have a Gsync monitor so tied
False. You're not tied to any monitor regardless of what GPU manufacturer you own.
I am if I want Gysnc...which I do.

No indeed there are no guarantees and Nvidia unlikely to budge one inch without competitionAll this expectation over new gaming cards and we don't even know if they will arrive this year.
You didn't correct him though. He said he had gsync so tied which he is unless he wants to ignore gsync. Stop ignoring what was written.
There's no cure for stupid. I cant help you.
heres a fun thought while we carry on waiting for whatever to happen.
just imagine big navi ships and it matches a 2080super with similar ray tracing performance then nvidia drop ampere which has a 5-10% bump in performance but double the ray tracing performance being nvidias 2nd gen, now would anyone on a 2000 series card get the new version of their card just for the extra ray tracing and minimal bump in overall performance or would you feel a bit let down.
just imagine big navi ships and it matches a 2080super
Would be hilarious that, seen as its rumoured to be about 30% faster than the 2080Ti

With Half Life Alyx coming, making me tempted to order an Index.. But, i don't want a new GPU til 3000 series, difficult choice.
And I'm sure *this time* AMD and AMD fanboys aren't just hyping things out of all proportion ahead of time. You know, like with the navi release, the vega release, the RX480 release....
Frankly I wouldn't believe performance 'rumours' from either red or green camp until neutral reviewers have got their hands on them and done some real-world testing.
Limited stock coming next week supposedly. I only have a 980Ti though, don't really want to upgrade until the new series cards.can u even order them? thought they were sold out
