Ill be so dissapointed if the 3080 matches the 2080Ti. I aint paying £800++ to get 30 FPS in flight sim.

clock speed is likely to be up a bit plus GDDR6x so extra memory bandwidth, Moore's Law reckons IPC gain 10-20%

I wouldn't take too much notice of that. Most of these sites seem to combine the rumours and leaks into one article.

How are you supposed to know it's "massive" from that picture?

The 2080Ti's level of performance should have released around in the $700 price point *years ago*. By now, that same price point should be faster still.

How long typically until the Gigabyte cards come out? My last 2 cards have been G1 Gigabyte cards and ive been really really happy with them, so would like to stick with GB again.

Y'all do realise there is a limit to what consumers are willing to spend on a GPU?? And FYI, the 2080TI was too much. Hence why they sold poorly (numbers) and why they had to release "turing 2" with the Supers.

Once again. Turing was "test" pricing in the absense of AMD. To see how much milking they could get away with. Turns out £1100+ was too much.
so I don't think they will do it again.
