People seem to forget the 2080ti was the same price as the 3080ti lol

A card which was considered a complete joke, as part of a lineup of cards that was considered a complete joke and which Nvidia practically apologised for when revealing Ampere. Still, it's nice to know that Jensen has gotten over the bout of brain worms he was suffering with back when he approved pricing for the original Ampere cards, allowing him to get back to scalping gamers whilst telling them how much he cares about them.

Good card at £1000 or less but not at £1500

- Public: "Wow, great idea, we are all for that, sounds great, thanks Nvidia!"
- Nvidia: "So we are calling them the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti, and they'll be like 10% faster than the old cards, how does that sound?"
- Public: "Great, I mean 10% more speed, and heck even if the FE cards are only 10% more than the original RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 we'd be fine with that."
- Nvidia: "Oh sorry, you misunderstand, in order to help gamers we also have to increase the price by over 60%, we thought you'd have known that?"
- Public: "Oh, we completely forgot you only lunched them at lower prices due to having actual competition, and with a worldwide shortage you are happy to screw us over again, we should have know, silly us."
- Nvidia: "Cha-ching!!!"

That cost Argument for gddr6x significantly weakened when nvidia announced the 3070ti.

UK prices are £1049 for the 3080 Ti and £529 for the 3070 Ti.

So £1599 and £999 respectively at OCUK.

Nah. They have the titan waiting for when stock is back to normal as we know 70% of the people who bought a 3090 will buy a titan for 500 quid more than it once it comes put even if irs only 2% faster...
