No way, everyone knows mobile wonFrom the thread title, how has this thread turned into a Console vs. PC debate?
PC wins, clearly.

Unless I made a mistake AMD and Imagination Tech did that years before AMD. Unified memory architecture with the GPU boosting floating point performance, unified shaders, are all ideas AMD borrowed. AMD have a habit of borrowing ideas from ARM and Imagination Tech bringing those ideas to the desktop market then getting credit for inventing the ideaTechnically anything with the iGPU on the same die is an APU but what AMD call an APU is architecturally quite different, its that architectural difference that enables what no other APU like processor can do, stream serial tasks in parallel on a unified memory architecture vastly improving x86 floating point performance.
Yes on the face of it these things all look the same but Bru is right, AMD APU's are the only 'true Heterogeneous architecture'

I don't see how AMD have the only 'true Heterogeneous architecture' if anything they are about 5+ steps behind ARM and Imagination Tech. Imagination have been doing True heterogeneous multi-processors for generations now with power savings in excess of 30% alongside a 2x performance gain when GPUs are used to augment the CPU compared to a CPU-only solution.
