Im having the same problem with my 6970. My only excuse is that it runs loud! :p

well bit much for extra 2 vram on top 80 £ or so , also how come you find your 6970 running loud mine is fine never goes above 47% fan speed and above 71 celcius even playing demanding games for 3 hour sessions

My 570 runs loud. Coolermaster lied when they said the SIlencio 550 was designed for quiet and top end parts. If only I could find a case of almost identical or less dimensions whcih was plain and simple I might then get the 680 aswell!

I wonder just how many people use resolutions bigger than 2500x1600 to make full use of these cards? I guess it could be more about bragging rights though!

Don't forget 5760x1080, this is where it should count and make a good difference. :)

im on a 5870 1gb and game at 1920x1080 and am seriously considering a 680. just for the price/performance/futureproof leap. every other card i look at just doesn't convince me its performance is worth the price or will last the 4ish years i think i could get out of the 680 (before i estimate i'd need more grunt).
