***NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 760 NOW AVAILABLE!!!****

Same here - I'm getting to the stage where I'll take anything as long as it's quieter/ cooler than my 480.

I side stepped from my overclocked 480 to my overclocked 660 (non TI) because the heat and noise was just getting annoying.

The 660 I have now performs very slightly better than the 480, but I wouldn't say it's enough to notice, so the 760 will be a noticable upgrade :)

Thanks, I had been considering taking the same side-step for some time now actually.

I think I am going to take the plunge and order a 760 tomorrow, with the view to add another for SLI further down the line :)

Only seen the one review online so far and its slightly slower in some stuff, about the same in others.

Not really worth the swap. Was thinking about it myself :)

760 is about 15-20% slower

Not according to Anandtech, it's 8-13% faster overall.

At 1080p it is clearly ahead of both the stock and boost versions of the 7950, by 13% and 8% respectively. This is by no means a commanding lead and AMD still offers better performance in some cases, but on average the GTX 760 is faster, quieter, and $30-$50 cheaper than AMD’s closest competitor.

Very close it seems, within a few % and most of time just a couple of frames behind. It's the higher stock core clock which closes the gap. Some reviews have shown that the memory overclocks well too. It's basically a gtx670 but ever so slightly slower.

I have to say for the price fantastic I think I have found my next card! but very disappointed in Gigabyte for the blue pcb I mean come on Gigabyte your cooler is amazing but Black pcb is offered by every other manufacturer for a reason!
