***NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 760 NOW AVAILABLE!!!****

So some of these 760's offer 2 way SLI only, and some offer 3 way SLI?

The NVIDIA website says 2 way, but OcUK says 3 way. Then again, there appears to be at least two different PCB types.

The number of SLI connectors suggests that OcUK are right, and NVIDIA are wrong... The hell? :D

Cheers - here's hoping.
Currently have a Msi 6970 -so would I need to go sli on these for an upgrade in performance?

A 660 Ti should be able to outperform the 6970 and with better power consumption. Since the 760 is just a improved 660 Ti, I think 1 should be enough for a performance increase.

Or alternatively you could get a 7950 which would be better in performance and has 3GB of GDDR5 RAM.

Thanks for the input - would really like a 770/80 but funds wont stretch to that, well maybe the 770, but not the 780 sadly.

If you are struggling then I would say go for 7950 and overclock it. But if you can hold on as 6970 is still a good card then wait till 8xxx series.
Also remember that 1 gpu is usualy less problematic, 7950 CF for higher res is probably best price/performance combo. :D

I heard the 9xxx series are coming out this year as well, so wait for the 9 series instead :p

With the Gigabyte is it the rev 1.0 or the rev 2.0? From the photo it seems to be the rev 1.0 but I figured I would ask and check since the rev 1.0 is 275mm in length and the rev 2.0 is 295mm.

I have no idea why Gigabyte have released two rev of the same card at the same time, but the rev 1.0 will fit in my case while the rev 2.0 will be too big.
