NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2080 TI SUB £900 & INCLUDES COD: MODERN WARFARE !!!

Pretty much all Zotac cards use Samsung memory, so it quite normal for Zotac, they will only ever use none Samsung if hard to source or lower-end SKU's.

Samsung will generally happily sit at 15,500MHz that the new SUPER's run at. :)

Nice !

Just curious but I noticed something odd, On the back of the card on the GPU core portion in the pics on OCUK it looks like the standard FE one but in person there are 2 x black blocks, Not sure of the correct component name, Mosfets maybe ? Is this normal ? Even on Zotacs website it doesn't show these components, Quite curious.

Well as saying goes images are for illustration only and this is exactly why because obviously at somepoint throughout manufacturing Zotac have made updates to the card, as to why that is an unknown as no one in Zotac on a sales level would ever know, probably not even the CEO.

Cooleo thanks for the reply, So you wouldn't say it's anything to worry about then ?

@Gibbo

I just got a reply back from Zotac that I sent before asking on here, As you said they are always updating cards hence the slight difference on the back but what I found interesting is I got told there are 2 different types of this blower card, Aesthetically the same minus 1 has the power connectors at the end of the card instead of on the side, Quite likely for people doing server builds.

By the way i hate the way i needed to reverse my pcie cables for this card, Its reverted from my 1080. And when i look into my case now i have gpu uplift? Yep from gpu sag to gpu uplift. And yes mine has the two things on the rear pcb too Dicehunter.

Pretty pleased so far, Testing will be done later tonight hopefully an A1 with Samsung.

I am not interested in anything but a five year warranty, All my gpus have broken we bought a whole pc from overclockers that died years ago, My 8800 gtx died as did everyone elses, My 1080 broke after hardly any use 2.6months old. And everyone knows how notorious RTX is with memory. Really you are gambling £950, I know 100% even if i buy the Zotac i will need to use the warranty to get the fan fixed because most of them run hot and the fans can not handle 80c for 5years. I thought my 1080 was ok at sub 80 and as you see its a common theme with fans. Heck even my laptop has the same issue.

Wow you have been unlucky, I have been building computers since 1998 for myself and others, personally in that time I have had 1 graphics card fail, 1 power supply and 1 set of memory and that is all.

Hopefully you will get A1 with Samsung, I got a 2nd for my little brother **Same two things on the rear PCB too** as a surprise early Christmas present upgrading him from a 970, Tested it and it too is A1 rev with Samsung.

So far I've had 1 x PSU which luckily didn't pop but it did trip it's own over voltage protection a lot for no reason, And 1 x GPU which was the 980 Ti Matrix Platinum, Plugged it all in and in the middle of the driver install something went BOOM near the power connectors, Apart from that I've been lucky since I started building in 2005.

I hate to be that person, but I do not believe it is.
According to this website. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-2080-ti.c3305
This card (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/zotac-rtx-2080-ti-blower.b6568) is not a 300A chip, its a 300.

That's a different thing and Steve from Gamers Nexus pointed out real world performance difference is minute due to slightly higher clocks, That's all really, A1 revision is just the newest revision of the TU102 die which is what we're pointing out.

Lucky little bro!!! Sheesh i had to format and with losing my win10 stuff and i only looked in my mail now to see you trusted me with a question. Sorry i never logged in lol i was busy preparing a few things. So i have the joy of a new install before i see the details on boosts. But everything seems ok so far no coil whine, The fans quiet at stock hmm i guess the only gripe is could be a bit more of a looker?

Looking good so far at £899.99 though :D

I quite like the looks of it, It looks very professional, No sharp gamery angles, No lights and blends in easily into any build :)

Finally had a good sitdown with mine, Fully formatted and tweaked Win10 and running Timespy DX12 at stock i am not getting more than 67c and 1850 boost sometimes. This is with the fan on full i have to say i am really glad i got the blower my case feels much cooler than before and the noise i actually enjoy it at 100% speed lol.

I also did not get Samsung i got Micron memory so i am just going to try upping the core in Afterburner so far i am nearly at 1900mhz boost so this looks pretty good for £899.99. If anyone is on the fence go for it!!

My last Timespy default score is below with my 4770k i get 13666 GFX score and just now got 13994. Lets see how far she goes eh.
