So that's a pretty big assumption. You have imagined a situation where 2 full orders of eagles were bought by the staff. If that is indeed the explanation I suggest that you do the lottery this week. Probably 60 eagles reserved for the staff, my my. Or just maybe father christmas took them away on his sleigh. C'mon.

could have been limited to specific cards? And/or limited amount of any card

How else could the missing cards be explained?

Or the list that @GIGA-Man said could be a mix of retail and SI stock?

thats what i would like to know!!! been 2nd in place! everytime i call CS they say "keep an eye on your email" its shocking... but you have stated on multiple occasions that the Gigabyte EAGLE 3080 OC's were indeed on the way... but to no avail....
 
Highly recommended people order cards else where
Most places nearly fulfilled their backlogs
I cancelled and managed to get my rtx 3090 coming tomorrow instead of 2 months via here

thats definitely true of 3090’s not so true of 3080’s unfortunately. I’ve had MSI 3090 Trio’s in my basket for next day delivery on other sites twice in the last week, but decided that, for me, it didn’t justify the extra money. I am in no way judging other peoples reasons for buying one. Came sooo close myself so I completely understand
 
Hi again I just found retailer which answer immediately for my question about availability of 3080 cards and the told me expecting some card at the and of November and queue for them is like

Current queue numbers for the 3080:
TUF OC - 23
ROG OC - 33
PNY not OC - 6
Palit OC - 8

is much better than be in the queue 500 possition then I will leave this place

I would have guessed at about 50-60. How much SI stock is knocking around right now? Bear in mind SI stock is lower margin than retail? If you want to make excuses for them then that's your choice, but please, at least make your excuses feasible.

Apart from the lack of 3090s it seems to match pretty well for the quantities listed in this update. Which to me confirms that the "most 3080s" and "all 3070s" are just Gigabyte cards, not the whole range, and Gibbo is just terrible at communicating the details (but we knew that already).
 
An OK amount of Gigabyte Eagle OC 3080 are due next week and a very small amount of Gigabyte Gaming & Vision 3080 are due.

This is an update that isn't meant to include SI stock....they have gone to great pains to tell us that it's a different team. This stock never arrived? If so...where's the update? If it did arrive, where are they?

Make your own minds up....
 
It's actually shocking that the communication is this bad. I didn't buy my 5900x from ocuk purely because of how bad gibbo has been with his information. (Also the fact he/ocuk have gouged that price too LOL)
