Yeah, that was a launch day order! Started trying to buy at 2pm, but after 5 bank approved attempts failed, then a fraud stop from my bank, I finally pushed it through with paypall at about 5:30pm. Still hoping I get it before xmas.
What happened to the large and small shipments of the 3080 trio shipping 23rd and 31st? Overall I've gone from 147 to 25 from the 15th October, with today being the biggest jump of 139 to 25.
I assume that the jump today was due to the very large shipment announced earlier this week, but what about the 23rd and 31st shipments, are they the same as this shipment or are they separate? I'm just confused.

My MSI trio position: 1057. Up 163 places from last week.
Out of curiosity what was your order time? 15:08-15:10ish?
They were them. Left the factory on the 23rd and 31st. 100 I assume from the 23rd arrived last night, originally expected to arrive last Friday, then another 25 I assume from the 31st this afternoon. That is Large+Small. And likely also the "very large" amount expected this week (but hopefully not... wouldn't get your hopes up though).

Position emails just came in for trio cards people!!
I’ve gone from 196 to 81. But in discord they said they had 125 so 196 - 125 = 71 not 81. Still glad I’m moving but thought I would share that positions might not exactly line up with what people are hoping.

Not sure if the queue includes replacing faulty cards, and I was told some of the people on the exceptions list were shipped this time (that is those of us who the order system messed up the orders and so we got incorrect queue positions). So those 10 might be a mix of those (though I hope there aren't that many faulty cards in the 55 Trios they had previosly sent out).
That was also a reason stated that Gibbo doesn't give us exact numbers before hand, so we aren't sad when the queue doesn't move as much as expected due to system errors and RMAs for broken on arrival cards.

Tbh I'm an OC man but even them are as rare as....well a very rare thing.
There's a distinct air of bullcrap around the ventus. The ok order seems to have disappeared.
We've been told 15 Ventus arrived, and 13 had shipped last time we got an update (no idea about the other two...). And the queue updates always seem to be alphabetical, and sent manually after all of a card have left. If the 2 Ventus are still waiting for some reason they likely won't update till they ship. (And shipping goes till 7pm, but Sales/Customer Service send the update and leave at 6, so if it isn't sent already it'll be tomorrow at the earliest)
The Trios today were likely the batches from this post, the large batch that left the factory on the 23rd, and the small that was due to leave on the 31st. That post also said a "ok" batch of Ventus was due to leave the factory on the 31st and arrive about now, but this post on Monday only talked about a small batch so it might have shrunk from what was originally predicted in the week before it left the factory.
Maybe there will be more tomorrow? I haven't been watching the 3090 thread, and there isn't a 3070 one, so not sure if all the MSI cards listed in the most recent update arrived and left. And maybe the "small" batch of Ventus today isn't the once that was originally suposed to be "Ok"? But, I suspect that is is for MSI 3080s this week.

I think in the week and a bit between the post on the 20th about it being due to leave the factory and actually leaving on the 31st it shrunk (or, didn't grow as much as hoped). Maybe MSI didn't make as many as expected that week, or just got a better offer from someone else.
The issue is there's not been anything from OC to clarify that position.
Yep saw that about the exceptions list earlier. Explains why over the weeks queue positions haven't always matched up based on the amount dispatched.
