Ive been without a graphics card since.. well since late August early September.

Cant believe I havent gamed on PC since then....

Now a 3080 is winging its way over tomorrow.... cant help but feel something is going to go **** up with it....like a dead on arrival, or coil whine or something like that.

Sods law it will happen to me....

Incidentally, these Watchdog codes, are people generally flogging the codes or keeping them?

I plan to try the game. If I like it, great, if I don't it was free anyway. Only people that can use the code need a 3080 installed anyway.

Honestly most in discord seemed alright, but one certain CS rep who I'll leave unnamed has been pretty power-hungry. Threatened me with a ban a while back when I called them out on their claim of OCUK having the best buying power or whatever it was because it was apparently "slander" to show facts. I'd seen him be hostile to other people too. Gonna guess that's the one responsible for your ban too...

I suggested that this guy was really helpful and this was the sort of information we needed. Even suggesting that ocuk should buy the guy some beers as he was just being truthful and helpful. It wasn’t like we’re were getting government secrets, feel bad for the guy and hope he hasn’t been told off.

Mate it's a fact of life i'm afraid, you give certain people a tiny bit of power and they turn into a traffic warden.

Just proves the point you made (and I think I questioned the same thing) was correct. All they are doing is showing us that they want to cover it up. Schoolboy mistake.

If you do flog it worth noting that in addition to needing a 3080 (or maybe a 3090) in the machine to redeem it, someone from the US said it wouldn't let them redeem, so it might be region locked, and it expires at the end of this month, so needs doing quickly. So there is a fairly limited market that can use it, and most of them likely got one with their 3080.
