I've had to cancel as i clearly pre ordered the wrong card (Asus TUF non OC).

Decided to settle for the 3070 and managed to get one earlier from a competitor earlier (will be delivered tomorrow). Wish everyone the best of luck but i can't look at this forum everyday.
 
hopefully the PNY 3080s have arrived, as the PNY 3090s are here, we will find out tomorrow

I seen a number of 3070s today but could not justified paying £550 plus for one when the AMD is around the corner and the 3080 is nearly 30-40% faster.
 
What's happened to the 50 MSI vensus's coming in. He said this week there was a order of 50 and a order of 10-30. What has happened? I'm now queue position 1 because of the 15 that shipped3080 Ventus - OK amount shipping from MSI factory 31st, due with us a week later.

I wonder what queue position you'll get. Based on the screenshot on discord it sounds like the people who ordered multiple cards are still counted in the queue numbers (2nd was marked as "hold"), but don't seem to get one shipped out. And @Shonivus mentioned 2 held cards today that would be being skipped, so I suspect you'll be told you are 3rd or 4th, but can actually subtract 2 from that number?

What happened to the shipment of 50 ventus's coming in this week then? They have the 15 card shipment arrive today. What about the 50? As quoted here 3080 Ventus - OK amount shipping from MSI factory 31st, due with us a week later.

Got a freesync monitor (CU34G2X) thankfully, so I'm ok on switching... But still, I'd rather just have my card I ordered 6 weeks or so ago and avoid all the hassle (as would everyone I suspect). Hopefully we start seeing better numbers soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

My theory is that between it being stated as "ok" on the 20th and actually leaving the factory on the 31st it for some reason shrank, either due to production issues or a better price offered by someone else. Hopefully I'm wrong but I suspect that "ok" (approx 50) shipment became the "small" (10-30) shipment mentioned in the post on Monday, which arrived today with only 15 cards. The second batch of 25 Trios that arrived today seems to match the "small" batch of them suposed to leave the factory on the same day as the Ventuses (Ventii?), so that tracks.

Of course unless @Gibbo gives us a much more complex update than usual we'll never know for sure. Hopefully 50+ turn up tomorrow or early next week and prove my theory wrong.
 
Anyone waiting for the MSI Trio.... all I can say is its a beast! With my 8700k only at 4.7gb I get 11300 on Superposition 1080p extreme compared to by previous best 6300 with my system max'd out.
Im glad I drove to collect mine lol. 100 mile round trip but worth it

Another theory. Is that when I called at 8:40 this morning the employee had no idea about the 15 or the 50 that were coming in. So basically they have no idea about them. Called back at 1 and they said 15 have been shipped and no news on the 50. Possibly tomorrow there will be the same thing happen???

Another theory is that the guy on the phone said that theres a MSI factory shipment and a MSI shipment. So it's possible tomorrow 50 will be arriving?? Not sure. The guy actually guaranteed my card to arrive this week (on Monday he said that)

Unfortunately from what we've been told only @Gibbo knows what is coming, the rest of OC only find out when it gets there, so unless Gibbo decides to give us better update everyone is just left guessing, even the people working there. Personally I doubt more Ventus (or other MSI cards) will appear this week or next (MSI shipments seem to tend to fortnightly so far), but hope I'm wrong.

Would be amazing if another 50ish Ventus and 100+ "Very Large" Trios appear tomorrow. Unbelievably to be honest, but we can dream.

Yes I know but the difference is there's a MSI factory shipment and a regular MSI shipment. The factory shipment is due this week. Gibbo can't be lying about the 50 cards surly. If he's put in a order of 50 he's expecting 50 not 15
 
now at 854 from an original 1200+ in the msi trio queue and sitting at 40 in the gigabyte vision queue, oh the craic to be had with this

While he might not be lying, he might just be telling us what he knows at the time, and updating us badly when it changes like he does with everything else. I hope you are right, if the large and small Trio shipments are different from the very large shipment, and the small ventus from the ok ventus, MSI will go from a not bad/good week (depending on if people are in the ventus or trio queue) to an amazing week.
