how many of you guys who bought the 3080 wacked it on the bay scalp style?

like right now on the bay ppl are coughing up 1000+ and another strix went for 1500, i mean thats 3090 money

i bet nvidia on next release will extortionately increase the prices for the 4000 series turing style

Sorry, I think most if not all will not be considering the approach you suggest. Most are after personal use or for family members, not profit.

No way, when my 22nd position is at zero my only relation to profit is the stories and lives I shared with other stranded buyers. Money can't buy this kind of camaraderie.

On a more serious note I looked and yes, that is disgusting. I wouldn't entertain it and I just hope @Gibbo is going to be a top bloke and secure at least 25-50 Zotac Trinity non OC cards so I've got a 3080 by December. That glimpse of hope when 15 cards arrived recently has made me a believer. You can do it Gibbo, I believe in you :D
 
Finally got my shipping notice for my FE 3070, which i'll be selling (for less then i paid for it) when i get my Eagle from here. At least now i don't need to worry if its gonna take till next year to arrive, which looks like a real possibility.

I agree, but if I recall the earlier posts these were a few people that were effectively dropped completely by the system during the initial melt down and then their orders were re-built a couple of days later.

I suspect that with the way they have automated the queue emails they probably can't just insert them in the queue without having to re-do it manually each time an email goes out.

Not ideal obviously and probably at the root of a few of the explosions over 'missing' cards as they will all be very early in the queues due to when their orders were placed and screwed up initially.

Yep, been filling out the sheet for my nearly non moving TUF queue and can see significantly behind people who ordered after me because of that. On another note I was lucky enough to get in on the console preorders all ok, its a much nicer feeling to actually want money to leave your account knowing it means soon to ship....opposed to money leaving your account for something that won’t ship in months...
 
Just a head up for those who managed to get a FE last week which said delivering on Monday. Just got a message from DPD they're delivering today. So keep an eye out for a nice surprise for a change

Used RTX2080Ti are now selling for £1000 up from a low of £350 in September and the GTX1080Ti which had been fetching as little as £200 is now going for £550

All because of Nvidias' screw up on the stock of the 30xx series.
 
I had bad experience with amd drivers before
I'm not sure if I want to go that way
Also my ryzen needed some undervolt and doesn't have any oc (compared to my 4690k)
Yep cpu is better but still kind of disappointed.
And I'm not going for a 5800x for double the prize to have 20 fps more
For my card, I'll stick with Nvidia despite this deep hole I got into
