*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Despite Nvidia lying that stock would improve towards the end of October and begin to flow more freely after that, the situation instead of getting better, has got worse! Last week the competitor with the table which some here appear to love failed to ship a single 3080 card with every single one delayed until this week, whether they will actually receive any product this week is anyones guess though.

Definitely going to just get a console and take another look at graphics cards middle of 2021 and cop a 3080ti

Decided to cancel my 3080 strix oc with a webnote due to rumors of a 3080ti launching with 20gig vram for 1k as the 3080 10gigs isn't enough with games like godfall needing 12gigs vram if I got the 10gig card I would have buyers remorse so going to ride it out with a ps5 till I see what the 6900xt can offer or the 3080ti if real

My question is how long dose it take to get a refund if I requested one with a web note
I've done my refund on friday for one of the cards, it's written 1-2 working days. Will see on tuesday I guess

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

I am getting tired of waiting for these stock issues to get sorted so I am now thinking to try buying the Radeon 6800XT when it launches instead of the RTX 3080. I have 3 questions for you, if anyone can assist I would apprecciate it:
-The main point that worries me about Radeon graphic cars is the super sampling technology. DLSS 2.0 of Nvidia seems amazing and I wonder if AMD will have a decent counterpart for this (and if anytime soon!). What do you think? Am I crazy going for a Radeon 6800XT or should I wait for a RTX 3080? (I don't really need it now and I am planning to keep this graphic card for 5+ years)
-How is the Asus 3080 TUF Gaming (non-OC) pre-order queue looking at the moment? Anyone who ordered not too long ago can tell me his/her position so I can get a rough idea?
-If I pre-order, will I be able to cancel it anytime and get my money back?

Many thanks in advance "and may the odds be ever in your favor".

I can't say anything in terms of what AMD has planned, but I am 177 in the queue for a non-OC TUF, and I've only moved up due to cancellations. OCUK has yet to ship a single one of these cards. Considering I ordered just after 5pm on launch day (17th September), things are looking pretty grim. Honestly, I think you have a better chance of getting a card sooner if you keep an eye out for drops elsewhere, it isn't worth ordering here

If you haven't pre-ordered one already, then good luck, because the stock situation is likely to be the same for the new consoles too. Basically, unless you've already got one secured, you're looking at sometime early 2021 for one of those...

I reckon it will be some time before the 3080 ti's come out.
I can't see them bringing them out when they are very likely to run out of stock of them, especially because they know everyone will cancel their 3080 orders to buy a 3080ti. They will almost certainly get the current stock issue to a somewhat stable state before the 3080 ti's come out.

Hopefully this is motivation for them to get the 3080s out to all the manufacturers as fast as possible.

This is the only part I can help with, I ordered mine on 1st November (very late I know) and was told I was number 1995 in the queue. Already got my cancel request in.

I managed to get a ps5 pre order

Yet it could explain the lack of stock. Not to be a conspiracy nut, but maybe Nvidia is working on the 3080 Ti, so that they can rush it out the door in time for the 6900XT launch. Whilst they would be absolutely shooting themselves in the foot by doing this, and lose a ton of trust from their customers, it wouldn't surprise me at this point, especially given how much they completely ****ed up this launch...

In my case, I don't really care about 3080ti as I don't plan to play in 4k I just bought LG34gn850 3440x1440 144hz (160hz OC) 1ms gtg. This and the new gpu (whichever corp as monitor supports both, g-sync and free sync) will last me fro the next 6 years minimum? maybe longer.

I know I'm not a majority but also not a minority. There's not many gamers playing in 4k..at least not yet

Yeah, I think you're right actually. If they are getting loads of 3080 ti's ready for the launch, they probably will start selling them. But, I know that everyone who has preordered the 3080 will be 100% annoyed (And rightfully so) as we've all been in a queue for months and that would literally be Nvidia ignoring us all.
