*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

He got his card 18:00 on tuesday, I messaged him, he still cannot understand why he got one, he ordered 18:58 on Launch supposedly.

Must have been at least 3 as Flenix got his in position 3, 1+2 not on forum or spreadsheet, none between Flenis and pos 15 on sheet either.

OC's system glitch more than likely why 339 got one.

Why no notification of TUF Non OC coming in is anyones guess.

utterly bizarre.

makes you wonder how much like this goes on unreported.

Conspiracy theory #364:

OC aren’t publicising shipments of cheaper cards (Eagle/ Tuf etc), so people pre order more expensive models?

More likely the manufacturers are only getting a small amount of the actual GPU's and putting them all in the more expensive cards since they are selling and have higher margins. The margins on MRSP cards are much much smaller.

I'm as annoyed as anyone though as about 400th in line for the Eagle! Doesn't appear as if the "large increases in shipments from Golden week, then November" has anything to do with the Eagle :/

fairly infuriating that ASUS don't even sell direct through their website in the UK. instead they link to their "partners" where we get put on a waiting list while they refuse to ship them out.

I have sympathy for OCUK in this whole mess, but this is just so awful its funny.

Inno3D update, due in around 10 days

RTX3070 ICHILL – 25 PCS

RTX3080 TWIN X2OC -10PCS

RTX3080 ICHILL X3 – 10 PCS

45 units every 10 days just lol lol lol. And how many of those will actually turn up, half maybe after the distribution 'losses'.

Suprised OCUK aren't selling 3080/3090TI preorders. XD

At least, that would involve correct use of the word "preorder". Their 3080 "preorders" are actually "backorders". It's not that they don't have access to a good definition of the word. Their own FAQ states "A preorder allows you to place an order for a product prior to release". It was not possible to order a 3080 card before release.
