*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

So... a competitor contacted me today to offer me either an Aorus master or extreme priced at 799 and 910ish PLUS VAT . Consumers are having our pants pulled down left right and center. I kept my gaming x trio preorder at 798

Its mad to think that 2 months on they're still only getting cards in batches of 10-15 at the time. I could kinda understand it at the very start of the launch, but I was really optimistic that after initial launch/golden week/etc we'd start seeing more normal sized batches now where cards were coming in 50-100 at a time. It feels like the situation hasn't improved much at all since launch, and AIBs are still being coy about when they even expect that will change

The worse part is we were told to expect better stock around November-December, now it's near the end of November and it's still god awful

HAHAHA This guy. (The rep not you)

"We are bringing in hundreds".... I think anyone who has been in this forum from day one will know this is utter rubbish, I am pretty sure ALL the Asus 3080 cards together probably don't get close to 100 shipped? He's done one better than Gibbo, rather than just not update us. He is just making up absolute rubbish.[/QUOTE]

Boss: "Right here is what you missed. We currently have 1000's of outstanding orders for our 30 series cards. It's a complete PR Nightmare."
Asus GPU Support: "Ok that does not sound good"
Boss: "I want you to go and try a bit of customer relations."
Asus GPU Support: "Well how long until we can satisfy the orders"
Boss: "A few years maybe"
Asus GPU Support: F~?K.

Rep - Not to worry I will use Politian speak and not give any worthwhile info and palm off the responsibility to the retailer who is worse than us at comms.

Oh I’m so looking forward to update day tomorrow - Friday.
More exciting still is the next Episode of Mandolorian.
Might we see Ahsoka Tano?
Might she be adorned with dual 3080 founder editions on her hilt?
Might she call out the tyranny of pre-order queues? Slay the mythical Gizbo and release us from our suffering?
Oh it’s so exciting!

Im starting to worry that ocuk could just throw in the towel, throw everyone out of the queues and give everyone their refund.

They are within their right to, and it would definitely be less work for them. No more dealing with queues and complainers.

There are other retailers that dont have a queue, yet still sells all the cards they can get. no one whines about them. Must be tempting.
The queue is a service, for me, that Im grateful for. I genuinly have no time to sit monitoring sites, and no time to react to notifications.

Why would they cancel the orders when they are gaining interest (maybe 0.40 %) on all the cash they have taken from people who thought they would have had one by now?
