*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I was 1109th so if you're estimates are close then I'll be 1039 and I wont get my card for another 4 months :(

955 in the queue as of last friday 99.77 more days for me. Of course as we get lower fewer in front of us will cancel.

To be fair at some point it has to equalise and stock will start to come in. Just to have to sit and wait

This is the first GPU launch I've paid close attention to (hard not to), after the first batch of FE cards have sold out, will Nvidia make anymore, or is that it? Are they a limited run thing and all that is left is the AIB's?

FEs turn up in germany a few times a week, UK is getting stiffed for whatever reason.

Zotac have now removed the 3080 Amp Extreme from their website and removed any predicted launch date from their reddit thread.
I asked and they stated its due to schedules continuing changing and stated the card is coming but not yet.

Bad news for anyone who has pre-ordered this card like myself. It was originally slated for October. Then early November and finally mid November to early December. I think there is little hope of seeing this card before Cyberpunk and possibly this year.

Thankfully I got lucky and ordered a ps5 awhile back, managed to get it delivered today so been on that all day.

Gives me a break from looking at this forum in a sense of dispear over the situation. But no messages for almost a week, or well 2 weeks for 3080 Strix guys is not a good sight to see I must say.

Shall see how much in the queue i drop because of cancellations tomorrow at least hahaha.... yeah...

I always thought oc was the main UK component supplier alongside you know who but with the 3000 series they seem to be getting tiny amounts compared to the other big site

This is the marketing many bought into, the reality will haunt OCUK for ages as we now know its bull. When FE cards go from another UK retailer, you know
times up!

Poor communication, the purchasing manager alwways focusing on the latest launch rather than exisitsing commitments :(

Not really true.

This week Germany has had two batches of 3070/80/90 for sale and the UK had two batches of 3070/90.

Prior to that the UK had 3070/80/90 on 6th November. nothing for Germany or the UK in between.

true but the 6th Nov 3080 drop was tiny. It was up for seconds, even less than the drop before it where there were 3080s. Both of which I missed, both barely. yes I'm still salty :D

It would be nice to have another drop, but then it would be nice to have a gf too, and maybe a good job.

Pre Brexit ... get used to this feeling!

Doubt it, these are crappy graphic card to play videogames, isn't a commercial agreement the EU parliament gives any s*** about, isn't vegetables nor drinks, of course if the mess is in the ports then is an UK problem. Also for Germany it takes days less to reach Italy and move it by wheel or trains than all the way up here, it seems freight is extremely limited and expensive due of lack of available cargo allocation for other items that goes generally into commercial aviation, I have notice shipping from abroad into the UK is way more expensive than even April!

But as said again here I fail to understand to queue for a card that isn't even worth the stupid asking price, unless you are the few that bought into 20xx series then is more like buying a football ticket, not for the performance, it is just your team :D

I hope i'm wrong but i think a lot of EU business will smile if the UK has less stock then other EU business and it will be due to Brexit.
