*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

You should have had an update yesterday, mine came through around 19:30. I moved from 432 to 414 in the Gaming X queue. If you aren't getting the emails you should contact them - not sure what the fastest/easiest way is to do that right now.
I sent a Webnote. But no response.

EDIT: I actually just decided to give It a try and check the old email address of my account and for some reason Im being notified there on Queue updates... go figure.

There's a post from a Canadian on Reddit saying that their retailer was told by Asus that the non-tuf has been discontinued. Obviously should be taken with a grain of salt, but it's easy to believe considering the complete lack of stock.

If its true ASUS will be making them for months as there has got to be a backorder queue running to at least 100,000 across the globe for that card.
The speed that they are currently being made is very poor, so if they want to clear the backlog soon they need to speed up a lot.

Stock for Ampere was supposed to ramp up massivly by end of November into December, with nvidia now claiming shortages until mid Q1 2021 and the cards coming through seems less you have to ask what are Nvidia up to? They supposedly have been making these cards for 3 months now, where are they? It's not a demand issue its supply with the evidence around now.

Retooling for the new Ti's? Announced in January shipping Feb/March? Drip feed what's left until then?

While there's definitely a shortage other places are managing to get stock in at a faster rate then oc. Let's not put all the blame on Nvidia. The competitors numbers this week alone make oc look incompetent. It'll be interesting to see their next week numbers because last I looked oc are getting 30 3080s plus what was due this week

As discussed above mate, the 3080's have REALLY slowed down this week across Europe. Im the first to call OC when they are being s'h'one'T but this is EU wide right now not OC related.

is there any advice on what queue lengths are like right now, which cards seem to be getting more stock and/or which card is best to preorder for most likely getting it one day soonish?

Well according to the competitors website they had 540 I think this week . May be slow across Europe but they doing a very good job getting them in . Also all the alerts that keep popping up for 3080s from multiple countries in EU. While they may of slowed down though tbh it never really ramped up .all I can do is look around and I'm seeing otherwise

This. 25% of outstanding back orders filled in a week. What will oc have shifted? Nowhere near that I'd bet.

That's my point it's so easy to blame Nvidia . But I'm looking around and others are doing a better job . I'm not saying Nvidia ain't to be blamed partly but oc should be on top of this and proving to Thier customers why they are the best .

OC haven't fulfilled that many more than 540 in total in over 9 weeks. Think they have only sent out over 100 in a week once, while others send out 540 in a bad week. Sums it up really. OC have secured little stock, what they did secure , half went missing out of the back door.
Incompetent and dishonest retailer selling cards made my dishonest manufacturer. Not a good recipe is it.

The funny thing is - if you look at the AMD card thread, Gibbo and other staff are interacting, explaining, answering questions and being praised for transparency.

It kinda feels like we're the drug addled child from a previous marriage that isn't invited to family gatherings :D

I've been watching Playstation and Xbox closely aswell and they both only supplied enough to supply preorders and now they are scarce. The thing I'm not understanding is, it's not like they need to drive up demand... So what is it? NVIDIA, AMD, Microsoft and Sony have had months if not years to ensure manufacturing of their products in time.

It annoys me that these companies are providing to influencers. I saw MSI__UK twitter had a retweet from someone thanking them for a 3080 last week. 'Sponsored' - for free obviously. When people like us have paid and waited for months. It really is a sad society we live in with this 'so-called' influencer epidemic. I think that and I'm only 28. Social media has gone mad. Went off topic a bit there

8hundred and 22 people in front of me in a queue,
8 hundred and 22 people, so sick that they could spew.

If one of those 8 hundred and 22 people would cancel their order for an MSI gaming x Trio.

There would be 8 hundred and 21 people in front of me in the queue.

Repeat until Q2 2021......

Big fan of the people who kept faith with their Asus non OC pre order because they locked it in at a decent price, sitting 500+ in the queue, refusing to look elsewhere to grab a 3080.
