Just read this post at Resetera. I have removed the reference to the competitor to be a good forum citizen:

“Last week I finally got the 3080 I ordered on launch day from <deleted>. They never did get stock of the 3080 FTW Gaming that I ordered and paid for, so they upgraded me to an Ultra for free which was nice.”

While that is good I feel a lot of people after reading that will then want oc to do the same . Unfortunately with all the orders they have it wouldn't be fair . Unless your willing to go back behind the queue , You shouldn't expect to be handed a different model . That's just selfish.

I hate the way oc are handling this and I've put them down many times but that will just aggravate people further

im 2nd in line for a non OC Trinity, havent budged in 3-4 weeks. only stock ive seen come in are 15 since launch (that have been mentioned in the incoming stock thread)

I Think AMD just beat them with this one, I know they wanted to beat NVidia and take the crown finally, not sure that was the one they was aiming for tho.
On another note I am seriously hoping that ASUS as been in the dark for 3 weeks because they are about to clear all their back orders for their Strix cards, I very much doubt it. Talk about trash you flagship line up and then s*** all over it.
 
I do want aswell I managed to get a 3070 but I want the 3080 , I can't see anywhere to get one
I've got some holidays in couple of weeks and can't see better moment to play
Its been a tough year with covid everywhere as an itu nurse, I've had no way to see my family and all my annual leave was work work work
If i can end the year with 15 days of non stop playing to evade reality I would be veryhappy
All alerts I receive are 70s or 90s or overpriced ones
 
gigabye shipment now what, two weeks overdue, and not a peep from anyone about it? There should have been just enough cards to satisfy my order, my patience is now wearing really thin.

Did you mean the one with the Eagle OC's and visions in? I was assuming that arrived as a few mentioned about the Eagle OC's shipped but didn't see any of the others.

And I sold my 1660 TI before launch expecting a price drop in the 2nd hand market (only lost 70 quid). Now iv got a 10 year old AMD blower style card (doesn't even do 4k output so I'm upscaling onscreen) with the world's loudest fan... so 10 weeks with music apps HL2 and assetto Corsa on minimum :eek:
 
There's loads of great games out that don't need the graphics, meanwhile. Especially on Epic which keeps giving ganes for free each week. Civ 6 I've been enjoying, as a freebie example.
