*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Ordering on launch September !7th 2020 seem like an eon ago. Ive been using a pair of gtx780's that still keep going albeit hot. TBH i hope the newer cards are built as good. I, like many others await an email with some light at the end of the tunnel.

I have not received the email and position 107 in the ASUS queue. Gibbo seemed to indicate several hundred ASUS stock so email was expected.

Several hundred across all ASUS SKU as there is four separate ASUS 3080 SKUs with large back order queues.

More shall be emailed this week so your turn will come. :)

Thats me finally out, took an upgrade from the EVGA 3080 Black to the Palit 3080ti.
Order was from the first half hour of launch day and 12 in the queue and didnt think I would get that card.

Will feel weird not checking this forum every day for updates.

It said in my email that LHR cards do not seem to have materialised yet, but I see today that other sites are starting to put the LHR cards up for sale today. Overclockers not getting any these LHR cards?

Hi all,
I scrolled couple of pages and couldnt find an answer so if its somewhere please do link.
There was Gigabyte 3080 Waterforce (GX-1CT-GI) in stock yesterday and so I placed an order. Does it mean I joined a queue of back orders or was it actually available in stock and it will be shipped soon?

Both sold out now, but you might of got lucky!

Ye its the AIO one, there were 4 in stock so I hope it would not let payment through if there were more orders than stock, alas these times you never know, hence a post here : ))

Does it not say in your Overclockers account if it went through?

ok i phoned up about swapping my gpu to a amd 6800xt tuf oc i ordered and 3080 tuf oc in september. i was then told i would need to be charged to swap gpu but there both the same price as each other. someone explane to how is that right i get the cards worth more now then it was in september. i just dont get it.

Stock and demand mate, they got the 6800XT for more than you paid originally so they are going to sell you the card now for whatever price they put as MSRP on those cards dont exist

I took the 3070 ti offer, yeah a downgrade from the 3080 order but at least I paid the same as my initial 3080 order, the 3080 ti was just not worth the price for me. I was 90 in the que for an eagle

Unfortunately we must have priced them a bit too keenly as they sold very fast, too fast meaning the website did not update the stock status quick enough and as such 9 units over sold, we do have 2 units incoming which will leave 7 back orders, Gigabyte tend to ship us one unit per week on this SKU so in theory your back order will be fulfilled, if you don't wish to wait then request a refund.

Yep in these times the pricing was, maybe not shockingly low, but surprisingly "reasonable" (whatever that term means nowadays :D ).
I sent a webnote to check how far down the queue I am, since in theory that could be 7 weeks of wait or even longer if Gigabyte does not send one per week.

I saw the AIO's In stock for about a day. Didn't seem to sell out that quickly. Surprised the stock system didn't keep up with that. Unless in reality they were all gone within minutes.

I also don't understand why waiting customers are not being offered discounts on all cards in stock. Not just a specific list. I know friends who would have had one of those AIO cards if they had offered a small amount of discount. Is it only cards you have more margin on you're able to offer at a discounted rate?

@Gibbo sorry for the ping but I am one of those offered a swap from the non-existant EVGA queue.

Looks to me like the only 3070ti that will fit in my NZXT H1 is the Inno3D one, but that wasn't offered for a discount - anything that might be done about that? I have raised a webnote.

Thanks.
