Just wondering if there had been any further update?
All MSI 3080 customers should be getting an email a few days ago with options for changing to an alternative card or a refund.
All Asus customers will start getting emails in the next 1-2 weeks, as we've managed to get Asus to give us a few hundred 3080's which will be offered to those with back orders at a discounted price from current web prices along with some other card options. Or as always request a refund.

We can offer the KFA2 model at £1049.99 which is MSRP. We can also maybe offer a 3080 12G at £949 which is practically a 3080Ti anyway.

Very pleased to say that I changed my long standing (568 days, but who's counting?) order of the original Asus GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming 10GB GDDR6X to one of the "GX-46U-AS Asus 3080 TUF OC LHR @ £820". Phoned two days ago and the order was promptly changed and dispatched for next day delivery.
Performance wise, all I can say it this is a very welcome upgrade to my poor, overstressed 980 GTX. Cyberpunk 2077 looks like an entirely different game with RayTracing, going from a Custom "Low" profile to now just simple hitting "RTX Ultra" and letting the card fly. VR on my HTC Vive is also hugely improved as SteamVR is no longer having to downscale, drop frames, and other tricks to keep a moderate FPS.

Yep it has taken a while but I never gave up pushing, your timing is good as the next batches of cards it seems that our cost will be going up unfortunately so at the moment prices are about as good as it will get.

Yes, the price is so high now and I was planning to get one this summer. The official Nvidia cards are cheaper but they are a myth because it is not available anywhere!

Looks like stock is flooding in generally now and prices are coming down a bit too.

Been seriously ill for a while. So only getting to this now. Don’t know if it’s been asked before (and I’m not asking for it just wondering if it was considered as an option) to leave it for this generation and give those who would otherwise be getting a refund, priority on the 4000 series whenever it’s released.
