*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I am 34 in queue for INNO3D Twin X2 OC

Only Jesus Christ himself will know when these cards will arrive to Overclockers, and it’s not helping both INNO3D and OC are keeping their mouths glued shut.

Also to put the cherry on top it’s the cheapest 3080 and it’s the only dual fan 3080 so i will probably have to RMA it a week after because it blows up!!!!

So disappointed and so angry I cannot wait any longer

Not true at all.

The moderators are in discussion with the shop in the background. We also continue nudging key individuals via WhatsApp!

Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to outline what their plans are going forward but they do see the frustration and are working hard in the background.

I’m waiting for a 3090 personally and haven’t had a queue update email as I ordered late, so I’ve got a vested interested ... but trust me when I say this has gone to the highest level within the business.
I can imagine. This thread must make hard reading for Toni.

Hopefully we will get more info soon and Gibbo/OcUK can get some bigger shipments in, because small shipment here or there and none at all of some SKU’s for weeks on end is not good :(

Oh my goodness, it’s happening omg!
By large shipments, is it safe to assume he means more than 34? Because I am queue number 34 for the twin x2 OC so I hope I get the first natch

Seems like ROG Japan say on Twitter that the 3080 Strix is middle of this month, I can only pray they mean the non oc and it has in fact not been supposedly discontinued like the TUF. Which brings me to my two cents on that. If ASUS have in fact discontinued the non oc I hope Overclockers give everyone the chance to put the money towards a different card rather than outright refunding and cancelling

Good to hear that. However, I never doubted that they are aware and trying to do something about it. It would be very negligent of them to literally ignore the situation.

The issue though is that for some unknown reason OCUK seem to be less transparent with us than their competitors. Being transparent shouldn't involve "working hard". All it takes is a simple message to explain what is going on.

If they have an NDA preventing them giving expected stock levels then just say so. The "small", "ok" "nearly large" shipments notifications are simply winding people up. Its extremely obvious that this information is being purposely hidden with no explanation as to why. People are jumping to conclusions about the reasons. For example is OCUK allowing people that order prebuilds to jump the queue? Are OCUK staff taking some for themselves? Are OCUK actually being excluded from obtaining stock from certain sources for some reason?

With the few informations ocuk is giving, just look at how stupid the discussions turn... People calculating everything etc etc...
Giving more informations (that they don't have anyway) would be an error from ocuk.
The thing is clear : you pay, you wait, or you... wait with you f5 button

P.S : you want an answer to "what is going on" ? Here it is : Nvidia is trolling you since the 17th of september. All the fault is theirs

Honestly, I just want my 4k 120hz display to be fed man

inno3d x3 is the card I ordered, no idea what my queue number is though

I pre ordered Palit 3080 (non oc) on release day, OC40345**, not had any queue number emailed. Called and they said it automated and will get an email soon. Asked what they were playing at as everyone else on the forums (even those who ordered way later than me) seem to have a queue number. So unhelpful, told me I could always cancel.

Yes, the situation is ridiculous. I am happy to wait for the card. But I am still interested in finding details of when I expect to see it. Its very difficult when Gibbo's thread doesn't appear to list everything that's arriving and the posts that are there are vague.

The alternative source of information is this thread, but its very hard to find info in it due to the sheer clutter of people asking whats happening, trying to collate info to work out what OCUK are not telling us, and people voicing their complaints.

It is literally impossible to keep up with this thread if you are to get anything else done in your day. It would be an almost full time job to keep up with this thread. I really don't understand how the mods are managing to keep up with this and do such a fine job cleaning up rule-breaking posts within minutes. They are no doubt spending hours per day here, but they shouldn't have to. If OCUK where more transparent this thread would be a much easier one to manage.
