Well there is actually a (totally unconfirmed report on reddit that the TUF 3080 Non-OC has actually been discontinued

Well, if this is true, I'm turning to AMD and I'm never looking back. **** Asus and **** Nvidia! What a ****show!

You'll probably get one once some shipments were received and sent to customers. You can always call OC and ask for it.
You should get an email when your queue moves, i.e. when they get stock and ship whichever card you ordered.
In seriousness, your queue number is going to probably be >1000 unless you picked one of the less popular cards. I wouldn't worry about it, and just wait for a scheduled update (whenever that may happen).
They claimed to ship a few Strix 3080 OC, however i received no email regarding queue changes.

I was 51 in q for inno3d x3, i know some people canceled and moved to palit in the meanwhile, hopefully they were for same card and lowered my place the queue now. i do hope the large shipment of Inno will secure my place too, but the more i think about it, the more i doubt it. Going to be a long wait till end of the month and see where i stand.

In that case you should get a queue number when the queue moves. Depending what model you ordered, it's a safe bet you won't get anything in November.
A nice thing to believe might be that ASUS (or whoever is being bitten by the additional cost) will take the hit for air-freighting small numbers of OC cards (with their additional margins), but have ship-shipped all of the slightly cheaper ones, so they'll pour in shortly.

That was a reddit post from 2 days ago, but there was an ASUS Facebook post a day ago which said they are in production, so who knows, just adds more stress all this uncertaintyA few pages back, there's a source that says the non-OC TUFs have been discontinued. I really hope it's not true
They had a $50 discount from Nvidia per chip so that should easily cover the cost of air freight
