*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Good news is some OC Strix are expected to ship out today, so hopefully they'll send out an update email later today or some point tomorrow. Bad news is based on the spreadsheet we've collected of queue positions odds are you are in the 1000 region, but hey, at least it isn't a TUF non-OC (2000ish), MSI Trio (1500ish) or a Gigabyte Eagle (at least 1500ish, but less recent data for it)
@Lastof you're running this sheet right? Do you want to add a 3rd column for this weeks update? I'll submit my 3rd queue email.

China will churn out cards like Gregg do with sausage rolls

I initially thought I have a 4 month wait based on the amount of positions i moved in the que in 12 days

But more cards will come as time goes by so hopefully its wont take more than '; weeks

TUF OC position from 191 to 189. I guess 2 people cancelled.

We should probably adjust the working code to the following (based on what actually happens):
Very small amount is <5
Small amount is around 5- 10
Moderate / Ok amount = around 20-25
Large amount = around 50

Just received an Email from OCUK telling me my queue position is still the same, however it did contain this little nugget which does go some way to answer a question which has been asked here before today.

Why are OCUK still accepting preorders for cards with massive long queues?

Answer - "We are working hard with NVIDIA and the graphics card manufacturers to secure stock based on the number of paid pre orders we have received."

Because OCUK is leveraging queue length to increase delivery quantities !

Sorta wish they'd just say "because people are willing to give us money full well knowing they won't get their card for a few months..capitalism!" - that's likely the reason anyway.
