I'm a bit miffed that no one in the Gigabyte Gaming OC queue got an update email last week when there was supposedly a shipment and no reports of getting one today either.

If I dream enough I can tell myself it's because they don't want to send out updates when a shipment is due soon...If only.

They put them in pre builts, they got some but they didn't go out to us, hence no update email

Well... I'm queue number 730 on the Asus TUF OC and this thread is equal parts crazy and depressing. I'm just glad I decided to keep my 1080 Ti rather than sell it off.

More people should cancel. It is obvious that these cards will never arrive and OC UK will be wary of placing large order with a manufacturer especially after so many cancellations. So they will have to return millions and tell me, how will they pay for thousands of thousands of cards.

Well my EVGA 3080 XC3 finally arrived today from a competitor, ordered on the 8th and took a while to get here from Czech Republic. Didn't think I'd get this year with my OcUk pre-order at no.558 in the TUF (non OC) queue so got a refund.

I have enjoyed following this thread tho, some really crazy people in here

Yeah I've seen it, but personally I think it's a bit harsh. I know the other place has a pretty little chart, but it does not make your card arrive any quicker. As for distributor allocation (in your review), I would take it with a pinch of salt.
I'm sure in a few weeks we will know more when higher volumes start coming. Nvidia are really the ones to blame here.

OCUK deserve plenty of blame. Especially on launch day when they had open listings with ETA of within the week for majority of the cards with zero hope of fulfilling them. Taking hundreds of thousands of people's money with no chance of fulfulling orders in a reasonable time.
The way they handled everything about these launches is a complete and utter joke so yes, they deserve to be blamed.

Nice, congrats. Also thanks for the queue bump, I went from 635 to 582, I guess through cancellations as I haven't seen any news of them arriving. Enjoy your 3080, maybe I will get mine before Christmas... 2021.

147 queue position for a trio, havent had an update since they started. Am I likily to see this GPU before Christmas or is it worth me getting a refund and waiting for a while? I see loads of people getting updates and not had one since they started

Was more just the fact that I found very few videos. Slightly panicked me but I was putting it down to shortage of cards

In the case of Palit, there's also the fact that it's not a big brand in Western markets.

I'd say stick with it for now and see what happens, since you're not too far off. Not sure about Christmas in all honesty, but I'm looking at other places when they eventually start selling stock in the coming months. Hoping I can find some place that'll have this card within reasonable timing.
