*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Moved up to the loft heights of 1018 in the TUF nonOC queue. Seeing some sort of movement is refreshing, even if they are all cancellations.

Hey fellas, not got a 3080 coming myself but have any of you in line for a Strix OC 3080 had shipping confirmation today? Just wanted to get an idea how many were in that small delivery to get an estimate of how many us 3090 lot can expect going out in the next couple of days

Could anybody help me? I am looking for a anti-sag bracket for a 3080 I am just not sure which would be compatible, Noob question I know. Thanks in advance.

Maybe they are also getting small amounts of system builder / OEM cards( I don't know the real name they are given), without the retail packaging and what not...

Ordered 3080 Strix OC on 18th (evening time). 1st queue email had me at 491, just got another today and I'm at 440. Probably all cancellations IMO - not seen anyone confirm a Strix shipment from OCUK, but then again this thread is getting mighty thick so I may have missed it :D

Luckily I can afford to give this company my money and wait (still p****d about it, especially on this BS about them getting some sort of preferential treatment from Nvidia). I feel sorry for anyone that's had to save up, use student loans (I'm sure I read that on here) or finance this with a little more difficulty.

Not expecting a 3080 from OCUK until middle of next year at the rate they are getting stock. I'll be keeping a close eye on the 'competitor who shall not be named here' and of course my fingers are crossed for AMD delivering a knockout punch to Nvidia at the end of this month - they've clearly become complacent as a company to keep AIBs in the dark for so long and deliver such shocking execution for a new generation of product.

It doesn't need a genius to predict the huge demand for these new graphics cards; 2020 saw an absolute explosion of spending in Gaming and Tech because of COVID and this was being discussed publicly by retail back in May from what I remeber. To then hype up 3000 series as much as they did, just before Q4 where a bunch of AAA games will be dropping, and then to not deliver substantial stock over and above 2000 series launch is madness. Multiple people would have been fired in any other company that had a bit more of a competitive edge about them.

Go AMD I say. Bring some sense to this madness ;)
Not to mention that it was obvious that 90% of GTX 1080 will want to make upgrade to this gen of cards. Whoever did not see this in Taiwanese headquater should be demoted for wonderful sales forecast and production schedule of rtx 3 series. Lol.

Last I remember OCUK offers the choice of having the packaging for each part included when you buy a prebuilt, inferring they don't use system builder stock

There have been two small deliveries in the last couple of days.

@Gibbo can you explain how you are offering this PC with 10 days build lead time with Gigabyte Gaming OC inside (just checked the specs) but you are not sending any of these cards to customers and are not giving us updates on this? This is downright unfair to be gentle...

P.S.: Just to add, this is the only card you have not send queue updates about, the one you received last week, yet nobody received updated queue email, despite you updating owners of other cards twice. What shall we think about this since you give no official update? Should I assume you think of paying customers as just quick loan alternative? Since you have my money?

Yeah I tried to point this out all week.... Seeing as we paid in advance, this is unfair to say the least
There's no use @Gibbo ing him though

You omitted highlighting "Longer during busy periods".
I think now would qualify as a busy period......

Did you notice it also says all options due in stock by the 16/10/2020 which the card isn’t, so they have to have them in already

Just as an update I ordered on 27th at 13:00 (I was a little late to the party) and I was 1118 for gigabyte eagle 3080 now 1010 in the latest queue update. As there has been nothing shipped for these that is 108 cancellations below 1000.

and if you scroll down the page it says...
