thanks just watched 8nm v 7nm, nvidia are good at messing things up! as we have seen, especially after stating that the 30 series would be 7nm!! back in 2018? just trying to save money, its quite apparent that 7nm is just so much better, thanks for the heads up:p
 
Personally I think Nvidia were nowhere near their shipping deadline with sod all stock but were sh*tting themselves that Navi would release before them and steal the market lead and take the first huge bite of the pie, so they released early and hey presto, you have the balls up we have now.
 
Strix queue was too long, I was 1079th in the queue, I think I would have needed to wait till Feb/March. I ended cancelling mine, found a smaller company which sold them, and guaranteed that I would be able to get mine for their November delivery. They've been way more open with their stock and update me quickly whenever I email them.
Glad I switched, following Overclockers gave me anxiety. Glad I jumped ship.

It was probably more to do with the console launches rather than Navi.
