in line with myself, started at 36, then 22 now 21 as of yesterdays update email. I also ordered the same day as you
 
What would be interesting is how many of an "ok" amount go directly into dispatching to the queue. There were rumours some pages back that many are going into prebuilds etc, not sure if there's any truth to that.
 
Oh boy... Im losing hope to ear OC saying they got some more Gigabyte Gaming OC shipped... after all the pre build fiasco is still very present on my mind

Even beeing 8th on the Q for it is making me lose hope :(
 
Yeah just got my queue email for Palit gaming pro. 122 down to 106. So a couple of cancellations and a tiny amount of shipments. If OCUK thinks that is an 'ok' amount then they are seriously out of touch. Ok would be 50+

Well it looks like a competitor got a decent shipment in today for Gaming OC (at least 48) so here's hoping OC get a similar amount...maybe I'm being too optimistic.
 
In line with Gibbo's inability to be consistent with his own words, the definition of "OK amount" keeps changing at each shipment. Oh so wonderful.
 
Very confused here. Someone I know maybe less than 20 in Palit OC queue and moved 7 places! Quantities seem to be weirdly off.

Yeah OC's "okay amount" shipment was 7 palit OC cards. FML, went from 9th to 2nd in the que. Wouldn't bother me so much if the other stores weren't filling their pre-orders either but that doesn't seem the case.

They need to start cutting the ******** and providing us with numbers then. Straight simple maths that no one can be confused about. We've all paid the full amount upfront and we should be well informed. They try claim NDA but who gives a crap about that, OCUK are the bottom of the barrel when compared to the other competitors so they have nothing to lose with Nvidia, but a whole lot of customers to lose. They've lied (or played on words) one too many times recently for my liking

We may share a different understanding of 'imminent' :)

I do believe that Nvidia have been holding back crucial components to slow the distribution capabilities of their partners but I also believe they will be unleashing serious volumes to swamp the market by November.

That is not due to 20GB card plans, just driving up demand and creating a knee-jerk buy reflex when free stock starts to appear around the world, all to frustrate AMD.

The 20GB cards will show up early next year I expect, unless AMD have more to announce than I'm expecting...

I would say deliberately misleading not confusing personally. I actually don't care too much about waiting for my card it is what it is there are not enough to go around and we all know that. I do care about being treated without at least some level of respect from the companies I choose to give my money to though.
 
Cancelled my order for the Tuf non-OC. Enjoy the queue bump by 1 anyone thats above position 1147 :p

Will wait to see what team red bring, and how Nvidia respond. If rumours are correct, they will respond by dumping a shed load of GPU's on the market!
 
Just checked on another ahem..Website and again, Similar story but on there, Cards not even able to preorder as yet but actually ready to rock in a prebuilt with a promised delivery in 7 days.
I am never preordering again. There is zero point being an early adopter...even willy waving is a thing of the past, Cant willy wave without a willy to wave.
