*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I just got a queue update for Palit 3080 gaming pro. Was 18th on first round of queue e-mails now 9th. So that "OK" amount of cards was in the single digits. Good job OC !
Ok, this is mad. My mate was 18 and moved to 11..... Very strange.

EDIT - Confusing OC and non OC - He is in the OC queue

They try claim NDA but who gives a crap about that

As someone working in the legal industry, anyone who cares about not being sued or cut off from a supplier cares about an NDA. If an NDA exists, as much as it might suck for everyone involved, OCUK need to stick to it or we risk being told they're getting no more 30X0 cards and we get to go to the back of the queue at another retailer.

Had an update myself regarding queue position for the rog strix oc as i went from 845 to 754 in that last dispatch of stock (can only assume a lot of people cancelled when they got their queue position)

What does the law say about charging in full for a pre "order" with no ETA? The product page also doesn't say that they will charge the full amount either. Normally a pre "order" charges a small amount (or nothing at all) until dispatch. A pre "purchase" charges in full. It seems OCUK pick and choose what to follow? Or am I misunderstood?

Not only that but a competitor shows how many orders they've got left and when they are getting orders. Plus you can't get to the back of a queue at other companies, because they've stopped taking orders beyond what they can fulfil...

I’m at no.7 on the gigabyte eagle queue, hasn’t moved and the latest update shows me still at 7 so no eagles have been dispatched. I placed my order at 14:10.
One of my friends who ordered a gigabyte gaming from a competitor at 14:40 and was 38th in his queue (general gigabyte queue not specific for gaming) has just has his dispatch notification.
Needless to say I am not happy as I picked OCUK as they touted themselves as one of the big players with close connections to nvidia whereas in reality they are behind a lot of their smaller competitors.
Gigabyte also tweeted no more deliveries for 2 weeks, but it seems some companies are getting some this week.

Does anyone know how often Strix 3080 OC cards are getting shipped?
Most of the info I'm seeing is about TUF and Pallit cards

Not very often. Only 12 cards were given out recently, not sure how many went in prebuilds. Looking on a competitor site, there's no mention of any new strix OC stock (that I could find).
