*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Greetings, new here but ordered my MSI trio soon after launch. To add to the mystery yesterday was 13 in queue now am 7. If number 12 got a delivery surely I should be 1? Also that was a SMALL delivery.

Goes to check for Tuf deliveries...

been like this for days! :p ha ha.

Can someone explain to me why there's no communication from ocuk on the forums?

You get more information from using web notes but then they also say that you shouldn't message them all the time with the same questions yet there's no actual thread detailing what's actually going on, so we're just left in the dark.

I'm just so weirded out by the way this is being handled. Like do you not want customers to stay with you after this? Are you planning on closing and driving off into the sunset in your Ferrari?

Why do we need to keep asking for a simple update...also why the hell can't we mention other competitors? Hell they're not competing, you're a league below.

There is, read gibbos stickied post. If you hadn't noticed reading this thread is a full time job. The people at OCUK aren't employed to be forum workers they have admin for that.

If i've lost out on Watchdogs/GeForce Now sub, after buying within 25 MINUTES on release day, while people ordering different cards a month later that are shipped early due to better stock on those cards, get their Watchdogs/GeForce now sub... Holy **** I'll feel betrayed... So beyond disappointed with this whole ******* scenario

If you want the game so bad just buy it, no need to be a tight arse. it's crap anyway.

I'm over 1,000 in queue so definitely think it might be next year on the 3080 gaming trio X based on only 6 cards in this week. What is a realistic "TOP END" volume of cards OCUK could recieve in stock weekly when production ramps up.... 250+ or is that wishful thinking?. Be nice to know on previous card launches if they've ever had to get so much stock levels in or ever had to.

Could be as much as that, if we're lucky. Overclockers will be high on the pecking list to get cards. They will have told all the suppliers how many cards they've got orders for. It would be nice to think each card supplier can get OCUK a couple of hundred cards a week by mid November.

I'm 1077 in the queue for an Eagle. I'm reasonably optimistic about getting a card this year.

That is not an update.

What the hell is.

"Few cards otw"

"Small batch in"

"Ok amount in today"

That's the amount of text you type when you don't give a ****.

They aren't paid to be forum workers? Why even have an official forum then?

makes sense they're playing the long game. they probably made a deal to take a less % of these early cards being sent out in favor of a larger % when there is enough stock to go around. wouldn't seem worth fighting the next guy very hard for a shipment of "very small" now, when they're lining up a "dream" a month down the road. agreed with everyone that it would be nice if they just said that though.

page 500 for the second time, that makes 1000 pages and 20,000 posts. and we wonder why they don't pay attention to the forum anymore?

The issue here is not that they give more information, it's that you believe they do!

The issue is that there's an NDA from Nvidia on giving detailed information, so someone feeds you a snippit and you exaggerate it into total vision of the situation. I've seen the tables, and they're about as vague as its possible to get. A shipment from Asus expected wc 19/10 Doesn't tell you any figures any split or even which cards they think they will receive. In fact it doesn't actually tell you anything at all really, but the fact it's there gives people a peg to hang hope on.

Gibbo tells you the hard facts of what's actually comming in on a two three day time window with actual card details and an idea of quantity.

If you like though I can write you a chart like the competition with vague references here and there, and no hard facts at all, and it will be just about as useful as what others have done.

I would rather have the info from the other place that actually dispatches the cards it says are arriving when they do, it far more believable than random terms given out if OC can be bothered.

Gibbo's thread has big holes in information, there have been at least 3 deliveries of cards which were then dispatched without a mention in that thread at all.
The terms in use keep changing and OK which was not a term given definition is 50 with one card and ends up being 10 with another.

I had an order with a competitor and I was 250th in place. Managed to get one on rainforest delivered in several days. glad i could cancel my preorder and glad this monstrous experience is done with.
