*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

If they really want to "steal" buyers from AMD, they'd try to satisfy the demand immediately: if you had your 3080 now, you wouldn't sell it to get a BigNavi card once those are available: you'd just keep your 3080.

This! When RTX 3080 was announced, it was a 100% chance me getting a 3080 and being an nvidia customer. Now it's still above 50%, but I'll buy whatever meets my needs and reaches me sooner. If big navi is competitive and available, Nvidia lost this customer, and potentially thousands more like me who aren't loyal to a particular brand (although I do probably lean slightly green, I'll go with what works and imaginary graphics cards aren't great at 4k).

its has been said on one website that ZOTAC needs a month to fullfill the supply of 20,000 cards to A***on... So I guess that is how many this size of a company can produce a month. 5000 per week. I wonder who is bigger, MSi, ASUS etc and how many they are able to produce ?

Yeah, I'm near the top of the Eagle queue, but who knows when that will see any movement. If I can get a Big Navi before that I'll happily switch. Only want 1440p and really want to play Cyberpunk on release.

Source please, I've been waiting on my order with them on the non OC since day 1 within the first hour they went live. I saw Gibbons update and all they seem to be getting are the OC models......

If Foxconn are able to stuff the boards then the limiting factor will be the number of Ampere chips available and how Nvidia decides to distribute them. MSI and Asus both use Foxconn for motherboard stuffing and other electronics they produce.

If you got over 100 posts and been a member for over a year you get free delivery, there is another reason as well. its in forum somewhere.
Damn, I'll probably hit 100 but won't be ordering from OCUK again any time soon after this.

Only 4 of my posts have been outside this thread anyway :P

The other queues are moving at least. We've got an OK to large amount of hobnobs arriving tomorrow, here's a picture of the entire shipment

somebody has nabbed half the nob! ( shipment) cough, that'll be the pre builds then bast****

So swapping cards is now off the table. Thought as mine will be going on a water block I'd cough the extra and get the Strix OC but told this morning its now a cancel and new order and that would mean February/March.

As it should have been from the get go
The queue switching was a very sketchy business practice and infuriated a lot of customers.
And rightly so

Yeah after seeing all the queues basically not moving i've cancelled my 1,100th place TUF non-oc - hope this helps someone get it in 4 months rather than 4.1 months!
