*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I'm pretty out of touch with this whole 3080 situation, I assumed it was a 4-8 week problem and since I wasn't in the market for a new card I didn't pay attention.

Now I am in the market for a new card and want the TUF OC 3080 I came to have a look around.

Seeing some worrying info from Nvidia CEO saying shortages will continue into 2021 and info on here saying March/April for new orders, is there any truth to this? Is it worth ordering at all? Or just come back in 3 months time?

Much appreciated.

Thank you for the information, hopefully the cards will come soon and at least lower the numbers - I won't hold my breath but I would be happy if I get it by January 2021 for Hitman 3

Considering the majority waiting did in fact purchase on the 17th Sep that is a totally useless comment.

I still really don’t think it’s due to a lack of chips. FE coolers are very expensive to make and won’t be the sort of profit Nvidia want. I’m not surprised they aren’t making a lot of them.

As soon as you receive it from DPD, you suddenly find out that you've lost your job!
These poor people...I feel so sorry for them being forced to sell their beloved 3080.

Do these idiots seriously think anyone falls for their bs. Gotta make you laugh :D
 
Anyway I know why no stock landed. Had a look in to my glass with my good eye and thats what I'w seen


Somehow few made it to shore and got loaded in to lorry

BTW thats the ONLY card ANYONE from my whole polish forums gotten. People got MULTIPLE PREORDERS in few stores.

What i have noticed is there has been no stock, or expected , Of Gigabyte Eagle 3080, Which I ordered. Im 723 in the queue, Ive just bought a second hand Palit 2080 TI , fitted a AIO watercooler, and getting great results. Core running at 2100mhz, And memory at 2000. Close to filling the cancel form and just waiting for the 20gb version perhaps.
 
And to ANYONE thinking OCUK's customer service is bad. NVIDIA STORE was like HOLD MY BEER OCUK/everyone else. Long story short had 3080 fe in basket but wuith storemessup it checked me out 2080 super and emailed ORDER CANCEL literary 1 minute after got emial confirmation of order and it came up as 2080.
It took WHOLE MONTH to get money back from them. I'd rather have poor ZOTAC than deal with NV store ever again. Hope this does not classyfy as competition mentioning Not like NV will sell any more of FE cards.
