I'm not very hopefully anymore, I just received a reply to a webnote I sent which enquired about how the Trinity non OC wasn't listen for pre-order unlike every other card:

"Thank you for your webnote. Unfortunately, yes that card is not available for pre-order at the moment. I'm unsure why and I will look to see if I can find out the reason why- but it is probably due to a sourcing issue. Apologies if this causes any inconvenience."


If his assumption is correct then its impossible to tell how long it would be before non-OC Zotac Trinity's come in stock.

Well ive just been told my Strix EKWB waterblock wont be with me till the 20th November.....cant even install the card till then anyway now....so its waiting either way.

Voodoo 2 here as well. Was a game changer for me. It was an OpenGL card wasnt it?

Yea Quake in “proper” 3D, bliss. Smooth textures drool.

I'm pretty sure I've still got them in the loft. The 3dfx cards truly were revolutionary. No more playing Doom and Quake in a tiny window on the screen.

Well ive just been told my Strix EKWB waterblock wont be with me till the 20th November.....cant even install the card till then anyway now....so its waiting either way.

I wouldn’t buy and WB until I had the card in my hand with all this going on.

I was somewhere with newly laid eggs, and they have had at least 20 of these cards in. But OC pretty much none or zero.

So much for 'big player'.

I remember my first graphics card was the original 3dfx Voodoo. Then graduated to SLI'd Voodoo 2's.

I dreamed of running a voodoo 2 - saved and saved, finally bought it and discovered my motherboard would only talk to the onboard gpu.

We've come a long way since then at least...

Yeah, I got to position 3 and all OC TUF deliveries stopped. Absolutely infuriating.

If it makes anyone feel better - was 280 in queue for TUF. Scored Gaming X Trio from competitor. Canceled OCUK to get my money back.

Gaming X Trio failed after 3 days. RMA. Now no card and no queue position.

Thinking maybe not getting one of these early cards they are desperately shovelling out the door is a good thing, quality wise.

You'll be front of the queue for any replacement though, which you are still likely to get before anyone else gets one here, lol.

I'm hoping it's down to golden week slowing everything down and by next week hopefully we will start seeing the non OC cards coming into the UK although I don't think OCUK will have them until the week after or even later haha, hopefully they come back to you with a solid response on why and don't just say we don't know
