*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I dont care about post count, it's you that made the comment on being a regular poster, as if that made you superior somehow.

I misread it as saying "nothing to put in it" rather than "nothing to put it in". Its just two words swapping places but makes all the difference to the meaning. It was an easy mistake to make, and doesn't make me an idiot.

See, you can't even stick to what you say! How can we take you seriously? You clearly have a superiority complex. Also, for a 35 year old you sure act a lot like a child that didn't get the toy they wanted for Christmas. Grow up mate.

OCUK are not purposely annoying their customers. Why would they? If you don't like them, then shop somewhere else. All these anti-OCUK posts are completely against forum rules. They pay for and run this forum and you should respect that when posting. It shows a certain amount of empathy that OCUK's mods are even allowing these anti-OCUK posts to remain.

You seriously block someone because they misread a sentence? Wow.

Dude get over it, I've said to stop now, stop acting like a child angry in a playground.
Move on, please for the sake of the thread now.
Yes, i'm not surprised your getting blocked by others, carrying on with this useless subject, he has to then read all this crap, all because you were mistaken, we are all human and make mistakes, no need for all this, let go. Now this/my post being added to this mess, because again i'm asking you to stop.
Can we get a mod to clean this up please.

I'm in two minds right now, I ordered an asus tuff 3080 non oc not realizing there where two cards an oc version and a non oc version, my intention is to watercool it so I ordered a block as well but I'm in queue position 1888 for the Tuff non OC, right now I'm thinking of cancelling and going for the OC Tuff instead, seems a shame to spend the extra money on a block and not get the OC version, I dunno just don't want to be any further back in the queue right now.

Check your pm

Ehrm so what about this rumour that Asus TUF Non OC is not being produced. Is it true? Will our orders be cancelled by OCUK or will we be given option to upgrade order to OC card. But will we be pushed to the back of the queue.
Officially not. They may just be labelling everything OC for now which isn't loads better- micro scalping, should we call it?

I'd go as far as to say not everyone even knows the Forums exist, so having some more clear info on the page would go a looooooong way. If for example someone has made a preorder for the card as a gift and isn't really clued into the hardware scene, they could expect that the cards would arrive for Christmas. Luckily I haven't been waiting for as long as everyone else, I do feel for the guys that have been waiting an absolute age. You never know, AMD may actually pull it out of the bag this time as seeing Nvidia's shambles and there's a load of cancellations. Typically, as a Gsync reliant user, I'm tied in, but what can you do.
Agree. These forums are an excellent resource, but the retail site is low on information.

Finally got a reply from ASUS customer support:

Hi [me],

Apologies that no one has got back to you until now.

Please be advised that the Non-OC cards are in production, for an accurate delivery date you would need to contact the reseller directly.

Thanks

So the non-OC cards (at least TUF, as that's what I'd specifically asked about), are being made and shipped to UK. Whether OCUK actually get any is another problem.

I ordered an eagle at 15.13 on 17th September. I don't even have a queue number yet, never mind a card. Maybe if I am really lucky I will have a queue number by mid-November and it will be probably 200 or more, even a month from now. Particularly annoying as I only ordered the card because at the time of order there was a delivery date of 23rd September. The only reason that I am in such a long queue (wherever I am in it) is because of OC and not Nvidia, it was OC who promised a delivery which was wrong and hundreds fell for it.
People saying that it isn't OC's fault should realise that in many cases it is OC's fault. And now people getting all happy because a month after ordering, they are finally throwing a few crumbs of information. Some people are well-trained consumers I guess.

I wonder what sales of the RTX20xx series were like in the first month and how many cards were delivered. I can't imaginge OCUK only shipped 500 cards in four weeks 2 years ago.

There is no chance, this has nothing to do with extra demand, that is a pathetic excuse Nvidia is peddling, they ****** up, like you say, 500 cards in a month for RTX20XX cards, no way, I can't imagine any GPU launch in history ever having so few cards available to customers, Nvidia fired the starting gun too early, greyhounds still in kennels with legs in the air napping.

Too early? To be honest even if they'd waited another Month they'd still have only had around 600 cards, and we'd still be in the same position as we are now with people in the thousands waiting cards. Maybe going from what's happened they should have launched it next year at the rate they're going, but a little memory keeps suggesting that the kept postponing the announcement of RTX30XX series and blaming the Covid, goodness knows what might have happened had that not delayed them a bit.

Well, after reading latest updates by Gibbo I just freed up one space in queue for 3080 TUF non-OC. Excluding OCUK from the equation, the whole situation looks even worse than I ever imagined and I blame solely NVidia for this whole s**tshow. I'm fine enough with my 2070S as is, so might as well wait to see what AMD will show or another gen of GPUs all together. I do NOT expect 3070 to be available any more than 3080 were and I fully expect another huge topic and big "preorder" queues for that one too. Hence, won't even bother with that one either.
