Order an RTX3070 on launch day, there is supposedly more stock of those, and you might prove lucky, avoid the cards which the world and his wife want and you should get one earlier.

Yeah I think I'm going to try that - then in 6 months I can try to convince my wife that she really needs a 3070

I'm sick and tired of prioritising USA by AIB's! I know why but still, higher prices and longer delays for us, second category customers. There, I had to get this out of my system..

I'm waiting for the MSI 3080 gaming x, and even though there was finally some info from MSI , I'm not feeling very reassured. I'm at 673 as of 13th - that was from a launch day order that I finally got through at 17:40 on the sixth attempt.

I need the card for Christmas because my 12yr old sons VR headset (from santa) will need my current 1080 in his computer so he can run it. So if it isn't going to happen before Christmas I'm probably going have to buy another card, which sucks. Going by the update it looks like I won't even break position 500 by mid November, so imo its starting to look less and less likely to happen in time... for me anyway.

Might be better availablity between the 3070 and Radeon 6000s? A lot of different cards are incoming, you'll have options before Xmas I expect.

You can stay in the queue for the 3080, and then when you do receive it sell the RTX3070, you will not lose much on resale especially if demand is still high - you might even make a profit !

There may be cancellations that mean you get it. I think ok could be anywhere between 40 and 70

I am reassured that they are doing what they can and the stock situation is out of their hands. You may get your card quicker if your constantly check other sites, but OCUK is the least hassle way to get a card IF you are happy to just wait for it. Constantly checking here for updates will make you go crazy and stress you out

62nd here! Getting excited now to FINALLY finish my almost completely over the top first build that I started in August! Bought a Quadro P2200 to tide me over while waiting for the 3080.

cancelled my order for the 3080 msi trio, had 2 on order but managed to get my order in within 15 mins with a competitor. was using a rx480 so playing now with raytracing and 4k so its like night and day. really hope you all get sorted soon, the past month has being my least enjoyable/stressful shopping experience ever. should also add i was number 438 in the queue.

Of course its normal to wonder whats happening. But at least OCUK will be sending emails after every shipment on your SKU and also on Fridays. I am sure in a month or so the movent will be 100 or more cards a week per SKU.

I can understand not wanting to wait until March though. For those that can't they will just have to keep checking the stores that only offer for sale when it is in stock.

I, too, had assumed that on this thread about GPUs they were talking about a GPU. Not quite sure why I'd made such an assumption.

Crossing my fingers now that the large delivery of MSI Gaming X Trio 3080s is close to 100, and enough people ahead of my 101 queue spot have cancelled that I get mine next week!

I think these delays have certainly made people think twice. Some because they feel they got caught in the hype and realise now they don't need a 3080 right now. Some because they now will wait to see what AMD offer. Others want to wait for the 20gb or 7nm 3080s.

how do you figure that out when ive been 2nd in que.. i ordered on 17th via phone. and both email's have said Que Pos 2 :-\ to be thats zero movement
