Well now I'm upset. I placed my order @ 17:01 for the card and a few other items and have been emailed with a queue position of 1040.

When I asked about recieving the other parts of my order separately, I was told it was fine and that it wouldn't affect my place and yet here I am, way further back with a different (much higher) order number.

Just wanted to update this and give a shout-out to OCUK support for their help. After a few minutes on hold, I spoke to a CS rep who was very helpful and understanding and it’s a simple mistake that’s being resolved.
 
Well judging by the trickle of cards coming through on the official stock thread, my queue position would indicate a wait time of 7 months. It is what it is, but I can only imagine pressure mounting towards Christmas so, if lucky march next year.
Have faith, the cards will start to be delivered in much bigger quantities from the end of November. Possibly hundreds at a time with the major brands.

I keep hearing patience is a virtue :D Sucks since I placed an order which was cancelled because of AmazonPay, and had to place a new order. OcUK honoured the original pricing, but not queue position.
At least it is much cheaper than the prices you predicted. Did you not say £1200 for the 3080? :p

How long on hold? What number did you use. For my weird queue position I've been on hold for over an hour with no sign of answers... Don't want to hang up and start again if it'll just make my position worse, but maybe in addition to falling off the queue for several days, I've also gotten lost in the phone system.

Honestly, what are my chances of seeing this arrive before Cyberpunk? Friends are reassuring me based on their positive experience with Overclockers in the past, but as a relatively new customer, i'm skeptical.
 
I am queue position 20 for a KFA2 card even though I ordered on the 22nd. To my knowledge this is a pretty low volume card, so if anyone is planning on cancelling and reordering due to queue position this might be the card to go with

I have been on the phone now for an hour also, been cut off twice. I think they are receiving a high volume of calls for some reason.

Well im queue position 999 for the asus rog strix oc. Technically only ordered yesterday as I did order the msi trio but changed to Asus. I guess I'll be waiting till after Xmas.

Sadly, very unlikely.

Unfortunately its less to do with what overclockers does, and more to do with how quickly the manufacturers make and ship them to the UK. And the factories will be on holiday next week, so that just makes it worse. Honestly, I suspect even if OC got all the UK shipments of your card you might not get it before December. With whatever share they do get, well, who knows.

Standard number from order emails (01782444455), option 2 (existing order query, I think). Took about 25 mins to get through with that repetitive chair advert playing all the while :rolleyes:. Bit more time on hold while he checked things with a manager but all sorted about 45 mins from the time I placed the call.

I also posted in the support forum, which got a quick response when I updated with a note to say I’d spoken to someone.
