*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Without naming competitors (and therefore not breaching rules....), some interesting upward price increases for a few brands...£20 or more in some cases. Could be an incoming shipment, maybe?

It's not Asus fault though. Buck stops with Nvidia on this one.
Nvidia send GPU and Asus build and test which denotes where it stands in the binning process. If they just slapped them on the PCB willy nilly then those that paid more get a slap in the benchmarks from those that paid less.

Absolutely, NVIDIA gets zero praise from me.

They launched knowing they had next to no stock availability.
They knew it and they launched anyway, and all so they could get out ahead of AMD and secure the pre-orders.

It was purely a business decision.
They certainly were not thinking of their customers and the **** show to follow.

They launched with limited stock, no doubt about it, but almost no retailers had systems in place to stop scalpers - this kinda thing happens time and time again and the first couple of months are always frustrating.

It's made worse by covid/golden week and don't get me wrong, nvidia neededed to do better but I see plenty of stock around the world, yes it sells out fast, but plenty coming in... new alerts all the time.... just not here.

Ooof the "OK" amount Ventus 3080s predicted a few weeks ago has now become a "small" amount in the recent update.

I've dropped more places in the queue due to cancellations than due to actual deliveries. :D

So basically the small amount of 3080 Ventus which shipped out of the MSI factory the 31st of October are due in the next couple of days. What happened to the large amount of Trio's that shipped the 23rd of October?
