I've just had a memory come back to me and wanted to run it past you fine folks who are ordering cards from other countries....
Many years ago (many, many) I ordered a graphics card from a shop in America because the cost including the shipping and import duties worked out cheaper than buying the same card here in the UK.
After it turned up and I installed it, there was a fault with it and it was throwing multi-colour triangles around all over the place.
When I attempted to contact the UK branch of the manufacturer that made it (I can't remember who they were now), I was told that I can't RMA the card in the UK because it was bought from America. I ended up having to return the card to America for replacement which took a bloody long time and gave me many headaches.

Are you lot that are buying buying from other countries able to RMA in the UK or you gonna have to do it back to the country of purchase?
 
As promised (from another shop) my 3090 X Trio arrived today (ordered yesterday).

First impressions are good, the card looks good although the RGB strip is a bit naff.

At stock, on air, the first TimeSpy result was 18,728. After some quick experimenting and setting Power to 102%, Core Clock +171 and Mem Clock +352 I'm at 19,567 (link below)

This pulls 400watts and runs at 70c (the fans are actually really quiet, I left them on default so probably louder if run at 100%). I have the Alphacool waterblock on order (hopefully get that next week) and once it's under water I'll flash the 500w EVGA Bios and see what she can do once let of the leash :)

I'll be cancelling my 3090 Strix pre-order so anyone below 359 last Friday will get a bump of 1 place :)

So Technically every 5 mins add 4 weeks waiting time.... T_T (just a lol) I only got my order in on 15h00! THE AGONYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! DRAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Out of spite I will go Thumbs down every OCUK video that is released now...(another lol cause what else can a person do but sit tight) MWAHAHAHA.......... tsss they got us by the short and curlies.
