Interesting, my undervolt I sit at 1950mhz, in a game like Valhalla or Legions i average around 62deg, with around 70% fan, RDR2 i will easily hit 70deg with 80% fan. Some reason Valhalla and Legions only pull about 60% of power under full load.

Got to ask.
Have you tried to overclock your memory?

I can get 2100 on the GPU no problem.

I am tempted to pre-order a 3090 Asus TUF OC. Does anyone happen to know how many folks are in the queue for that card or similar cards at this point?

I was number 3 for the last couple of weeks and received it today. Haven’t actually seen it yet (still at work) but it was delivered earlier today. Not sure how long the queue is

So OCUK say I can exchange my card for one that is in stock. They then follow up by saying a cant pay extra due to my payment method. OCUK have actually hiked all the prices so that even the cheapest is more than the price I paid for the aorus master. Gonna wait until Friday and see if my queue position changes. If it doesn't it will be the second week in a row.

If I'm still second on Friday I'll be cancelling me pre order

I just sent a email to ocuk asking what they are doing to get us our cards, I then checked the other 3080 update thread and gibbo has posted a large Asus delivery incoming, only to list every card bar the 3090 oc strix. Not one of those this week, I absolutely hate ocuk, im done with this company

Have you tried to overclock your memory?

I can get 2100 on the GPU no problem.

Only by 248mhz, just to push it to 10ghz, as the default 9752 was seriously bugging me (OCD). Also it does absolutely nothing for performance apart from make the memory hotter.

Card will reach 2100 or just shy no problem, just temps get a little hot for my liking, as to maintain it, needs the full extra 23% power really, and that gets toasty real fast! (and the buzzing shroud is still an issue) so i dont let it get that high (until asus respond with fixes/recall on the forums)

Its not a bad card... its just depends what you want to do with it, its power limited to start with, as in, there is no manual power adjustment. Read the review: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/zotac-geforce-rtx-3090-trinity/38.html

But personally, for that price. no.

What app did you use?

3D mark tells me my ram is 1270.
I can not change it or is it that evga and afterburner are not reporting the right Hz?

Afterburner, been fine, just make sure in nvidia control panel you set power mode to max performance so the clocks down drop down.

Yeh I tried that.
But afterburner says my ram is 9988 when it's not.
Only 3D mark and GPU-Z say the same 1270.
Will try again

I placed the order on 10/10/20, and was no 15 in the first round of emails, then dropped to 3 and stayed there until yesterday. Don’t think the TUF OC is a long queue, I’d say it’s the smallest of all Asus cards really.
I got the TUF OC myself because originally I was intended to leave it on air and was the best card that would fit in my case, but having all this time to wait for it and the cpu, I ended up changing my mind going for a dual rad custom loop instead
